We have an opening for a Food Technologist to join our team. The Food Technologist will support the Product Development team by executing key technical workflows across food safety, formulation, sensory, and regulatory documentation. This role will manage day-to-day technical tasks that accelerate innovation and enable successful launches as we expand into new product categories.

In this role, you will:
Help bring new products to life from concept through launch and scale-upSolve real food challenges involving flavor, texture, shelf life, and food safetyProtect consumers by ensuring products are safe, stable, and compliantPartner with suppliers, customers, and production teams to make great food happen at scaleInfluence the quality and eating experience of products enjoyed by consumers every dayIf you love hands-on food work, problem solving, and seeing your work become real products on shelves, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities
Lead and participate in sensory programs to support development and shelf-life validationPerform new item risk assessments and ensure HACCP and food safety complianceReview and approve raw materials for functionality, safety, and regulatory alignmentCreate and maintain FDA-compliant Nutrition Facts Panels and ingredient statementsDesign and execute shelf-life and challenge studies, including microbiological and stability testingChampion daily sensory evaluation of materials and finished goods for quality and consistencyApply culinary intuition to evaluate flavor, texture, and overall eating experienceServe as a primary contact for supplier and customer inquiries related to food safety and product qualityTroubleshoot formulations and support seamless scale-up from R&D to production Requirements:Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field (Dairy Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, Food Engineering, Culinary Science, etc.)2-5 years of experience in food manufacturing or R&D (dairy or refrigerated foods preferred)Strong understanding of food safety, shelf-life validation, and regulatory labelingExperience with Genesis or similar nutritional softwareStrong organizational skillsDetail-orientedAbility to multitask effectivelyKnowledge of FDA labeling rules (21 CFR 101) preferredExperience conducting or supporting sensory evaluation preferredPhysical Requirements
