Job Title: Residential Care Director
As a Residential Care Director, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You will lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional care and support to individuals in our community, ensuring that their needs are met with compassion and professionalism. What you'll do
Oversee daily operations of the residential care facility, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs, including those requiring Alzheimer's and dementia care.
Supervise and mentor staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence in service delivery.
Manage budgets effectively while ensuring high-quality care and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care for residents.
Conduct regular assessments of resident health and well-being, adjusting care plans as necessary.
Facilitate training programs for staff on best practices in senior care, medication administration, and safety protocols.
Engage with residents through activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Basic qualifications
R.N. or L.P.N. license
Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home settings.
Strong background in managing long-term care facilities or group homes.
Familiarity with home and community care practices.
Preferred qualifications
Experience working with individuals with dementia/Alzheimer's.
Knowledge of operations management within a residential care context.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Financial acumen related to budgeting and resource allocation.
