    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe’re looking for a Night Auditor to assist guests with their overnight requests and balance accounts from the day shift. Night Auditor responsibilities include checking in guests, handling their requests and taking reservations. The Night Auditor also reconciles all accounts, processes invoices and prepares paychecks. Ultimately, you will provide excellent customer service to guests and keep the front desk and accounting operations running smoothly.

    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThank you for your interest in our Hotel Front Desk associate position. This position is morning shift and evening shift. We are looking for someone who can commit to 2-3 days per week including weekends and weekdays.

    The Front Desk Clerk is responsible for assisting guests with check-in and check-out, answers and processes all phone calls received, plus handles all special requests for services or information, in accordance with standard policies and procedures.

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.Maintain positive guest relations at all times.Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.Maintain complete knowledge at all times of: a) all hotel features/services, hours of operation. b) all room rates, special packages and promotions. c) daily house count and expected arrivals/departures. d) scheduled daily group activities.Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies.Keep bank secure at all times.Answer department telephone within 3 rings, using correct greeting and telephone etiquette.Process all guest check-ins.Verify registration card information with the guest.Obtain back-up information for guest credit/payment method and input into system; collect cash when designated.Direct Bell Person to escort guest and transport their luggage to the room.Handle overbooked or walked in guests.Accept and record wake-up call requests.Monitor, send and distribute guest faxes.Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments/personnel (i.e., special requests, amenity delivery).Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.Match the bucket check to in-house guest ledger report; report discrepancies to Manager.Process all check-outs.Process adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, miscellaneous charges.     What Does a Hotel Maintenance Associate Do?

    Building maintenance:

    Perform routine inspections of buildings to identify and address maintenance needs, including plumbing, electrical, and structural issues. Conduct repairs on doors, windows, floors, and walls to maintain a secure and aesthetically pleasing environment.

    Grounds keeping:

    Maintain outdoor areas by cleaning parking lot and hedges, and removing debris to enhance the overall appearance and safety of the property. Help with snow removal and putting salt on the walkways during the winter months to ensure safety of our guests.

    HVAC systems:

    Inspect, clean, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (PTAC)systems to ensure optimal performance. Change filters and troubleshoot issues to maintain a comfortable indoor climate.

    Plumbing and electrical repairs:

    Address plumbing problems, such as leaks, clogs, and faulty fixtures. Conduct basic electrical repairs, including replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures.

    Equipment maintenance:

    Perform preventive maintenance on list of items provided by the GM minimize downtime and extend their lifespan.
    Troubleshoot and repair minor issues in tools and equipment used in daily operations (ex: vacuums).

    Safety inspections:

    Conduct safety inspections of facilities to identify and address potential hazards. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement corrective measures when necessary. (ex: elevator, pool)

    Painting and finishing:

    Paint and finish surfaces to maintain a fresh and clean appearance, both indoors and outdoors. Repair and patch walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed.

    Emergency repairs:

    Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, addressing issues such as leaks, power outages, or structural damage. Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and resolve urgent matters.

    Documentation:

    Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections. Please follow our BSA requirements.

    Janitorial duties:

    Perform janitorial tasks, including cleaning common areas, restrooms, and break rooms. Ensure a sanitary and hygienic environment for our guests

    Additionally:

    It is his or her duty to acknowledge and welcome guests in line with company standards.

    The role of the maintenance technician working in a hotel also involves anticipating and acknowledging needs, and rendering assistance to persons with disabilities.

    He/she identifies guests with regard and adheres to brand standards and expectations.
