About the Role: • Visit different nursing homes each day to provide comprehensive on-site eye exams and vision care • Utilize state-of-the-art portable equipment for refractions, glaucoma screenings, retinal evaluations, and more • Develop individualized care plans and prescribe corrective lenses • Collaborate with optometric assistants and support staff in a friendly, supportive team environment • Benefit from a flexible schedule with no required evenings or weekends • Maintain accurate, thorough documentation for each patient encounter • Participate in follow-up care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals as needed • Uphold the highest standards of patient-centered care and professionalism This role is ideal for an Optometrist who values flexibility, enjoys working independently across a variety of settings, and is passionate about making a meaningful impact on seniors' lives.
