As a Manager in Training, candidates will complete all levels of training while serving customers and learning all aspects of the Store and the Company. The Automotive Technician, reporting to the Store and Service Managers, is responsible for performing basic and advanced car maintenance and repair tasks, inspecting vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshooting issues to ensure vehicle is performing appropriately and the customer is taken care of.Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Application of in-depth automotive repair knowledgeProviding service of the highest quality to our customersPerforms skilled mechanical work while analyzing and diagnosing problemsInspect, replace and/or repair defective parts while performing preventative maintenance on automobilesContinuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technologyDemonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s vision, mission, and core values in all interaction with customers, co-workers, managers, and suppliersAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standardsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work areaQualifications
We are looking for:A minimum of 2 years’ automotive service, automotive mechanic, and/or engine diagnostic experience in a professional capacityASE Certification preferred, but not requiredMust have Technician ToolsValid driver’s licenseAbility to operate and drive vehiclesAbility to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screenEffective communication and interpersonal skillsTop-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customersWillingness to work Saturdays

The Hood Technician is responsible for inspecting and lubricating cars in a quick, yet thorough manner for customers in a professional and efficient manner. This position will adhere to and promote the Company mission while operating within the confines of the Company’s core values and contributing to the success of their functional team.Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Complete work accurately and quickly allowing customers to remain in their vehiclesPerform multi-point inspectionInspect vehicles for additional repairs neededAdvise service consultant/tech for additional workInspect fluid levels of power steering reservoir and transmissionInspect belts, hoses, and wiper bladesCheck air pressure of tiresMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work areaQualifications
