    Position Summary:

    The Final Packaging Associate is responsible for packaging, labeling, inspecting, and preparing finished food products for shipment while ensuring quality, food safety, and production standards are met.

    Key Responsibilities Package and label finished products according to specifications.Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and packaging defects.Verify labels, lot codes, and expiration dates.Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently.Pack products into cases and prepare pallets for shipment.Maintain accurate production records.Follow all food safety, GMP, sanitation, and safety procedures.Keep work areas clean and organized. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred.1-2 years of previous manufacturing or food production experience preferred.Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to work in a food production environment and wear required PPE.

    Reports To: Packaging Supervisor or Production Manager.

A safety walk follows, then you move on to clearing cross-department bottlenecks, validating quality checkpoints, and mentoring emerging team leads on the floor. Midday, you confirm material availability and recalibrate inventory priorities. Before shift change, you pull production metrics, flag trends, and propose refinements. You wrap by aligning on preventive maintenance tasks so tomorrow starts strong.

    Role snapshot

    Serve as the Plant Manager’s trusted partner, working side-by-side with production teams to protect safety, elevate quality, and keep throughput on target in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    What you will tacklePartner with the Plant Manager to steer daily operations and balance production schedules.Track production flow to sustain efficiency and meet quality expectations.Collaborate with maintenance, quality, supply chain, and other teams to remove obstacles and streamline work.Champion and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe workplace.Coach, train, and mentor employees to build a culture of continuous improvement.Support inventory control and confirm materials and supplies are on hand for planned runs.Compile performance reports, analyze metrics, and recommend targeted improvements.Help plan and execute equipment maintenance to reduce downtime.What you bringBachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting.Proven ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate teams.Strong problem-solving mindset and meticulous attention to detail.Working knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and best practices.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with production management software.Clear and confident communication skills, written and verbal.Flexibility to adjust hours as needed to meet production demands.Location
