Position Summary:
The Final Packaging Associate is responsible for packaging, labeling, inspecting, and preparing finished food products for shipment while ensuring quality, food safety, and production standards are met.
Key Responsibilities Package and label finished products according to specifications.Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and packaging defects.Verify labels, lot codes, and expiration dates.Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently.Pack products into cases and prepare pallets for shipment.Maintain accurate production records.Follow all food safety, GMP, sanitation, and safety procedures.Keep work areas clean and organized. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred.1-2 years of previous manufacturing or food production experience preferred.Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to work in a food production environment and wear required PPE.Reports To: Packaging Supervisor or Production Manager.
