Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in Sidney, Ohio. This role focuses on producing high-quality welded components while following established processes, blueprints, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting and be comfortable working independently on the shop floor.
Key ResponsibilitiesSet up welding jobs and follow established production processes
Manufacture parts according to representative samples, templates, fixtures, blueprints, and routers
Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality and accuracy
Accurately record production times and job details
Handle raw materials and finished products safely
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Perform basic equipment maintenance and care
Operate a tow motor (forklift) as needed
Minimum Qualifications2+ years of welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
TIG welding experience preferred (MIG experience a plus)
Ability to pass a written and hands-on weld test (H (2F) position with multiple weld sizes)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding prints
Experience operating or ability to learn tow motor / forklift operation
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

Key Responsibilities:
Perform all pre-trip inspections and safety checks per DOT regulations, including reviewing itineraries, checking route numbers, completing trailer temperature checks, and ensuring vehicle readiness.
Safely drive and deliver customer orders according to assigned routes and delivery schedules.
Use an electronic timekeeping system to accurately log arrival and departure times at customer sites.

**Verify deliveries
** with customers, confirm order accuracy, and obtain required signatures.
Perform backhaul pickups from vendors when assigned.
Conduct all post-trip responsibilities, including fueling, unhooking and securing trailers, and completing DOT logs, DVIR reports, and maintenance documentation.
Attend all required company meetings, safety trainings, and compliance assessments.
Follow all company safety policies, driving standards, and operational procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Skills and Qualifications:
Must be registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have a valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of legal residence with required endorsements and DOT qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience required
