    Position: 
    Responsible for performing clerical and administrative duties in a transportation office. Tasks include sorting mail, filing, answering phones, greeting drivers, and other assigned duties as required. Ideal candidates will have recent consistent proven experience with a similar role. Experience in the transportation field of industry is also ideal. 

    Acceptable Attire: business casual; jeans, pullovers, blouses, and shoes should be closed-toed || Not acceptable: T-shirts, sleeveless t-shirts, or spaghetti straps

    Primary Responsibilities: 

    Answer phones. Reroute calls to appropriate people. Take and deliver messages. Update TRS as needed, 
    including check call information.Filing duties. (I.E., file seal slips and registered mail slips by month only – no longer sort by HCR or date)Responsible for insuring accuracy of driver’s logs, time cards and e-logs.

    - Coordinate required corrections with drivers (incorrect or missing entries, missing logs, paper logs,

    storage

    Purchase Orders -

    - Date stamp as received and put into date order

    - Determine that all PO’s are valid and are not duplications

    - Assign company PO number and enter into tracking spreadsheet

    - Get approval, forward to Corporate for payment

    Track Vacation for Terminal (drivers, office staff, mechanics, managers)

    - Input vacation/sick days/time off into terminal spreadsheet

    - Provide update to terminal management

    - File requests in vacation binder

    Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and 
    personal computersSort and distribute incoming mail.Perform data entry as required or directed, including payroll data (time cards)Must be able to work any schedule (days, evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays) as required by the needs 
    of the business. Must be on time for each assigned schedule, regardless of shift.Any other job function as assigned by management, including performing back-up duties for other office 
    personnel.

    Physical Requirements: 

    Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, and sit for prolonged periods.Walk as needed to the shop building to collect documents in varying weather conditions.
