Job description:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking Concrete Finishers who can work on the military bases Camp Lejeune and Cherry Point in Havelock. Must be able to travel. The Concrete Finishers will be responsible for the forming, placement, and assisting the finishing of assigned concrete, carpentry, and general projects. The individual must have a strong work ethic and skilled experience.
Work hours: 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday only

3 to 5 years cement experience and/or carpentry experienceSelf-starter with ability to work in a team environmentAbility to edge, tool joint, and broom concrete with no assistanceBe able to receive and follow directionStrong work ethicPhysically fit, can bend, kneel, squat and lift a minimum of 35lbs.Tolerate working in hot environmentsSome experience/knowledge of construction or working on construction sitesAdditional Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver’s license and able to meet military base background check requirementsAbility to work outdoors in all types of weather conditionsMust be willing to work as part of a team with others on projectsAbility to work independently and take direction as needed from supervisorAbility to follow directions and complete tasks in a timely manner while maintaining quality standardsMust be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and carry boxes 50 pounds on most projects. Must be willing to stand for long periods of time bending, stooping, twisting, reaching overhead.Job Types: Full-time, Contract
