About us:
Expert appliance is a locally owned appliance sales and service company with our storefront located in Marlboro, New Jersey. We are currently looking for an experienced Appliance Technician to join our growing team on a full time basis.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Appliance Technician with 2+ years of hands-on field experience to handle in-home service calls throughout Monmouth County. This is a commission-based role paying 45% of all completed service work, with strong earning potential and clear room for growth as you build your customer base and take on more complex jobs.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and service major household appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, etc.) in customers’ homesProvide professional, friendly service and communicate clearly with customersComplete all paperwork and service reports accurately and in a timely mannerMaintain a clean, organized van and toolsOccasionally assist with store deliveries or installations as neededRepresent Expert Appliance Center with honesty and integrity at all timesRequirements
Minimum 2 years of professional appliance repair experience (field service preferred)Valid driver’s license and clean driving recordOwn set of hand tools and basic appliance repair equipmentAbility to work independently and efficientlyStrong customer-service skills and professional appearanceMust be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various home environmentsReliable transportation and smartphone for dispatchingCompensation & Benefits
