As our business grows, we are looking for a reliable and experienced team member to support daily operations and assist with future compliance and licensing needs. This position will start as part-time, with the potential to transition to full-time based on business growth.
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Operations & Compliance Coordinator with solid experience in international logistics. The ideal candidate has the professional background required to support company licensing and regulatory processes, along with strong operational skills in freight forwarding. This role involves a hybrid work arrangement, so strong self-discipline and the ability to work efficiently from home are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily freight forwarding operations including booking, documentation, and coordination with carriers, customers, and vendorsPrepare and review shipping documents such as B/L, ISF, arrival notices, and shipping instructionsAssist with regulatory and compliance-related tasks as neededCommunicate with overseas agents and domestic partners to ensure smooth cargo flowHelp establish internal operational procedures as the company growsDeliver professional and responsive customer serviceWork effectively in both remote and office environmentsQualifications
Minimum of 4 years of experience in freight forwarding, ocean export/import, or related logistics operationsExperience and professional knowledge necessary to support company licensing and compliance requirementsStrong understanding of international shipping processes and documentationHighly self-motivated with strong time-management skills, able to remain productive while working from homeDetail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independentlyExcellent communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is strongly preferredAbility to thrive in a small start-up environment and take initiativeWork Arrangement
