We re seeking a skilled Breast Surgeon to provide comprehensive diagnosis and surgical treatment for breast related conditions, aligning with our mission of population health care coordination.
ResponsibilitiesProvide screening, diagnosis, and surgical treatment for breast conditions: benign lumps, pain/discomfort, nipple discharge, retractions, areolar changes, and breast cancer stages. Procedures include core biopsy, stereotactic biopsy, excisional biopsy, lumpectomy, and mastectomy. Oversee multidisciplinary coordination with oncology, radiology, plastic surgery, and genetic counseling for cancer cases. In Office biopsies Participate in breast cancer tumor boards and quality improvement initiatives consistent with recognized standards (e.g. Commission on Cancer or National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers). Teach or mentor other medical professionals as part of Essen s integrated workforce. Qualifications MD or DO with valid NY State medical license (or eligible for licensure).
