    Summary
    The Test and Field Service Engineer provides testing and service support for all machines built by the Client. They also repair, test and calibrate machines in the field at customer sites. This job description indicates the general nature and level of the work that is expected.     Work Environment
    Responsibilities associated with this position are typically performed in an office setting or designated administrative area and in the production area. Movement through industrial or manufacturing areas is required along with the use of appropriate personal protective wear and consistent observance of established safety policies at all times. Travel may be as high as 50% of the role, and a passport is required.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Repair customer products using technical manuals and knowledge of electronics, using test and diagnostic equipmentTest and repair all systems on Electronic Beam welders, EBAM systems, and Acuweld TIG weldersTroubleshoot and repair PC BoardsTest electronic units using standard test equipment and analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustmentProgram test fixture componentsAnalyze and interpret product test data through analysis of analog, digital, mixed signal, switching regulators, and power circuitsTroubleshoot problems found in the development, test, or installation of our products as they relate to electronics and recommend solutionsInvestigate new instrumentation, explore new concepts, and test operating practices in order to improve overall test processOther shop duties as required

    Minimum Requirements

    Responsibilities:
    Assists Project on compliance issues
    Assists implementation and update of the Site Environmental Management Plan
    Daily site inspections including preparation of daily reports or logs
    Assists with permit management and implementation
    Assist coordination of corrective action for compliance deficiencies
    Spill response and mitigation including assistance with incident reports
    Assist personnel orientation and training in environmental responsibilities
    Assist Project Management with Subcontractor environmental commitments and responsibilities
    Waste storage, handling, and disposal management assistance according to regulations
    Petroleum storage and handling oversight including fuel storage tanks, drums and containers, lubricants, and other petroleum by-products

    Job Requirements:

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Physical Demands:
    Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting and lifting.

    Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls and tools.
    May be required to lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
    Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, work off of platforms and man lifts, and may occasionally work out on an open structure using the appropriate fall protection requirements.
    Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and leather work boots.

    Work Environment:

    Develop technical specifications and scopes of work for structural and geotechnical materials.
    Provide technical leadership during FEL/FEED, detailed design, and EPC execution.

    Required Qualifications

    Location: Spencer, Indiana This is a hybrid position; however, the successful candidate will need to still live or relocate within approximately 1-2 hours of Spencer, IN to be available for any site visits and office time.

    Pay range: $95,000 - $127,000 yearly

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Monitors and evaluates the performance and condition of power system assets in order to comply with the corporate asset management strategy and ensure necessary investments are made to maintain long-term reliability. Analyzes and reports on reliability and performance data and determines solutions to resolve reliability and performance issues. Keeps informed of evolving asset management practices and equipment monitoring technologies in use at peer utilities. Recommends changes to maintenance practices and maintains the long-term maintenance program documents for Hoosier Energy assets. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) where necessary. Represents Hoosier Energy in industry peer groups.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Monitors and analyzes outage data to determine root causes of significant eventsServes as point of contact to member systems and neighboring utility personnel and reports on reliability measures on a regular basisWorks with internal and external experts and stakeholders to develop plans which address areas of reliability concernReviews and improves reporting and communication methods and proceduresActively participates in NATF, EPRI, IEEE and other peer groupsSupports the compliance department as necessary to comply with NERC/RRO compliance standardsRepresents Hoosier Energy as Subject Matter Expert during NERC/RRO auditsResearches inspection and maintenance techniques of peer utilities and trade organizations, and recommends changes when improvement opportunities existRecommends plans, projects or procedures which may improve reliability, enhance compliance and/or reduce costSubmits projects for inclusion in the budget and work planMaintains Hoosier Energy's asset and maintenance management systems to capture work detailed in maintenance programs with support from IT as necessaryDevelops processes and procedures to maintain up-to-date asset and maintenance activity records. Explores and evaluates process improvements for capturing data.Monitors equipment performance and performs long-term maintenance planning. Analyzes and evaluates work order trends for long-term implications. Assesses remaining equipment life, probability of failure and related risk assessment as a basis for developing contingency plans and alternative solutionsDevelops long-term optimized plan for operations asset replacements and/or repairs based on appropriate economic and risk considerationsDevelops and maintains appropriate analytical tools (i.e. models and databases according to established quality procedures) to support decision makingResearches industry equipment issues and analyzes potential implications to the power system assetsParticipates in all areas of responsibility to assure accomplishment of corporate initiativesPerforms other duties as assigned

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or technical discipline with combined experience to understand the operation of electric utility system and perform technical analysis and assessments minimum

    Experience:

    Five years' experience in the electric utility / power industry minimumFive years of electrical utility experience in maintenance or planning is preferred

    Overview
    Ground Improvement Design Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to support the growing portfolio of geotechnical construction projects across the U.S. This role is ideal for an engineer who wants to move beyond traditional consulting into a design-build environment, working on complex, high-impact projects and seeing designs carried through construction.

    We are especially interested in candidates with direct ground improvement or specialty geotechnical contracting experience, but we will also consider strong candidates from geotechnical consulting firms.

    Key Responsibilities

    Perform design and analysis for ground improvement systems and geotechnical structuresSupport estimating teams with technical input and optimized solutions during bid phaseDevelop construction-ready calculations and drawingsProvide engineering support during construction, including troubleshooting field conditionsParticipate in load test programs (design, execution, interpretation)Work closely with estimating, operations, CAD, and project management teams from proposal through construction.Contribute to development of design tools, automation, and efficiency improvements

    Our client, a well-established manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Plant Electrical Engineer to join their team. This hands-on role is responsible for supporting plant operations through electrical system design, equipment reliability improvements, troubleshooting, maintenance support, and capital project execution.

    Key Responsibilities

    Coordinate electrical equipment installations and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.Troubleshoot production equipment and lead critical repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance initiatives.Develop solutions to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and throughput.Create, maintain, and update electrical drawings using AutoCAD.Design and improve electrical systems, controls, and equipment components.Inspect installations and operations to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety requirements.Support OSHA compliance efforts and equipment safety reviews.Assist with vendor evaluations, new technology integration, and equipment prototyping.Participate in capital projects involving new equipment purchases, upgrades, and major repairs.Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.Mentor maintenance personnel and provide technical guidance as needed.

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, with 5-8 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or plant environment; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience, specifically with Omron and Allen-Bradley systems.Experience with Pro-face and Allen-Bradley HMI programming.Knowledge of relay logic, machine troubleshooting, AC/DC motors, and electrical controls.Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics; steam systems is required.Ability to read and develop electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics, and P&IDs is a must.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Japanese language skills are a plus but not required.
