INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN (LINEBACKER) TVM Installation Project – Pittsburgh, PA Project Start: May 18, 2026
PROJECT OVERVIEW Working with primary contractor Flowbird on a TVM installation project for the Pittsburgh, PA transit system. Project involves the installation of Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) at transit stations throughout Pittsburgh, PA.
Project Duration: May 18, 2026 through July 10, 2026
Hourly Pay: $25 - $28 an hour with a $250 completion bonus.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Various Pittsburgh, PA transit stations
JOB DUTIES
Assist with unloading, moving, and positioning TVM equipmentInstall new TVM units at platform locationsMount equipment and secure components to station infrastructureAssist with cable routing and low voltage wiring as directedSupport lead technicians with general installation tasksMaintain clean and safe work areasREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Position Overview
ESP Enterprises, Inc. seeks a Preventative Maintenance Technician to support Genfare's contract with Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS). You will maintain Genfare Farebox TRIMS and TVM (Ticket Vending Machine) systems on CATS buses and light rail stations.

Perform preventative maintenance on fareboxes and ticket vending machinesDisassemble, clean, calibrate, and rebuild equipment per manufacturer specificationsMaintain card readers, bill validators, coin acceptors, and ticket issuing mechanismsTroubleshoot mechanical and electronic issuesDocument maintenance activities and maintain service recordsCoordinate with CATS staff to minimize service disruptionsFollow safety protocols at bus garages, rail yards, and stationsRequired Qualifications
Must have ONE of the following:
Electronics training from technical school/community college, OR1+ year low voltage troubleshooting (access control, security, A/V, telecom), OR1-2 years electronic/electromechanical equipment maintenanceAlso Required:
High school diploma or GEDMechanical aptitude and willingness to learnAbility to read technical manuals and schematics (training provided)Proficiency with hand tools and basic diagnostic equipmentComputer skills (Microsoft Office)Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehiclePass background check and drug screeningLift 50 lbs regularly; work standing, kneeling, bending for extended periodsComfortable working Wed-Sun scheduleComprehensive training provided. FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Schedule: 5am-2pm
Operates and maintains digital and analog electronics devices, repairs and troubleshoots assemblies to the module level. Documents maintenance efforts. Software/Hardware troubleshooting and upgrades. The position typically works under close supervision and direction.
IT background is essential.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reads and interpret complex schematics, engineering drawings, work orders, - technical manuals, and specifications.
-Initializes and determines readiness of electronic devices for correct operations
-Analyzes and interprets device operations for malfunctions, replace spares, troubleshoot faults after isolation and repair modules with component parts
- Prepares and maintains appropriate and required records.
- Use general purpose test equipment, basic hand tools and special tooling as required.
- May order replacement spares and parts from vendor parts list.
- May serve as Lead and assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
-Preforms other related duties as required.
Must know how to utilize a meter: perform resistance checks, voltage checks and continuity checks.
