    Job Summary
    Equanimity Integrated Behavioral Health and Wellness is seeking licensed Contractors (LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW-C, LCMFT, Licensed Psychologists and Psychology Associates) to join our team! In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. If you are an experienced clinician passionate about providing high-quality care and mental health solutions, we want to hear from you! Clinicians can work in a hybrid format (in-person/telehealth).

    Responsibilities:

    Provide individual and/or family and possibly group therapyAbility to work with patients of all ages, gender, race, and other demographicsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient careMonitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededAdhere to all facility and licensing standardsQualifications:

    Master’s degree in Mental Health fieldAt least 1 to 2 years of experience working with patients in a clinical or therapeutic settingStrong skills in patient assessment, diagnostic proficiency, behavior management, and crisis interventionProficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Psychodynamic Therapy, DBT (Mindfulness), Interpersonal Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Humanistic approaches (eclectic skills preferred)Must be flexible and able to work with a multidisciplinary teamCompensation:

    Equanimity Integrated Behavioral Health and Wellness is seeking an addictions specialist to provide comprehensive substance use services, including assessments, treatment, and support for recovery to dually diagnosed individuals. Substance use services will be integrated and consistent with ongoing mental health treatment, including the involvement of a multidisciplinary clinical team. Candidates must have knowledge of diagnostic criteria based on the DSM-5-TR and knowledge of empirically validated treatment modalities to treat substance use disorders. 
    Responsibilities
    * Assessing individuals with substance use disorders to determine the appropriate level of treatment based on ASAM Criteria.* Providing counseling services, including individual and group counseling.* Collaborating with staff who provide medical and detoxification services and follow-up.* Providing treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders with a focus on understanding how they interact with each other.* Addressing psychosocial problems and skill deficiencies with individualized programming, created through comprehensive assessment and consultation with the patient.* Contributing to discharge planning, treatment continuity, and aftercare plans, which are integrated with the patient’s master treatment plan.
    Qualifications
    Educational Requirements:Minimum - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in clinical/counseling psychology, mental health counseling, social work, or a minimum of 3 years of work-related experience in clinical/counseling psychology, mental health counseling, or social work.
    Licenses/Certifications:Certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (either Certified Associate Counselor – Alcohol and Drug (CAC-AD) or Licensed Clinical Alcohol or Drug Counselor (LCADC) in Maryland is required. Certification and/or Licensure is required. Read Less

    Responsibilities
    Provide gracious, thorough, compassionate, and efficient customer service to meet the client's needs via face-to-face communication, phone, email or fax.Follow all procedures for complete and accurate check-in and check-out of clients.Schedule follow-up and new client appointments and set up reminder notifications.Identify, research, and resolve client requests.Obtain demographic, medical histories, and current medication information from clients; verify client information; check insurance eligibility.Prepare the office for the professional staff and clients, and assist providers as needed.Obtain prior authorization for both prescriptions and procedures in a timely manner.Assist billing department with all medical insurance claims for resolution and payment. Resolve any incoming inquiries or payment denials from insurance providers for payment. Research, compile, and respond to documentation requests from insurance carriers in a timely basis. Contact insurance carriers to collect on open account balances.Maintain office supplies.Qualifications
    Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist, or Medical Office Assistant, REQUIRED.Medical billing and code experience a plus, but not necessary.Minimum of a high school diploma.Must have the ability to establish confidence and trust with clients.Must have the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure or stress.Have the ability to provide excellent customer service, communication, telephone, and grammar skills.Must have an empathetic and compassionate manner.Two or more years of experience in a medical position with patient contact is highly preferred.Experience using Opti Mantra preferred but not required.Knowledge of insurance plans is helpful.Knowledge of Google Calendar is helpful.Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.Ability to perform as part of a team as well as work independently.We will provide:
