    Envocore, LLC is seeking Electrical Apprentices in your area!

    Envocore, LLC is an established national leader engaged in the engineering, designing and installation of energy-efficient systems. Our company designs and installs projects for a wide range of Government, Commercial, Industrial, Educational, Medical, Institutional and Retail facilities across the United States.

    Candidates must be actively enrolled in a federally approved apprenticeship program.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Reports to site supervisor to receive day’s assignment.Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks involving the use of different hand tools used to perform new fixture installation or to retrofit, replace and repair existing lighting fixtures and solar panels.Operate maintenance equipment and a variety of power tools including portable drills, table saws, aerial lifts and related equipment as required.Primary tasks include demolition of old fixtures, installation of new fixtures including compact fluorescents, exit signs, emergency lighting and battery backup, occupancy sensors and retrofitting existing lighting fixtures, installing reflectors and replacing fluorescent lamps, socket bars and sockets.Perform minor electrical tasks.Complies with the company’s personal hand tools requirements and always maintains.Assists with loading or unloading of trucks and staging material when needed.Maintains tools and maintenance equipment in working order.

    Competency

    To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

    Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of workOperate various motorized light construction equipment.Operate various electric, gasoline powered equipment used in the work being performed.Distinguish colors used in electrical wiring.Demonstrate proficiency at interpreting Envocore's energy Conservation Measures (ECM) Codes and Price Codes.Basic installation, retrofitting, repair and maintenance procedures and practices.

Our company designs and installs projects for a wide range of Commercial, Industrial, Educational, Medical, Government, Institutional and Retail facilities across the United States. This position may require travel. All candidates considered for this position must be willing to travel for work.

    Installer Responsibilities

    1. Pre-Installation Preparation

    Arrive on-site with all necessary tools, safety equipment, and PPE.Review system design plans and verify layout with project manager.Conduct a visual inspection of the roof for any structural concerns or obstructions.Set up fall protection and safety barriers per OSHA standards.

    2. Mounting System Installation

    Secure racking/mounting system to roof structure, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.Confirm all mounting hardware is torqued to specification.

    3. Panel Installation

    Safely lift and mount solar panels onto racking system.Ensure panels are properly aligned and securely fastened.Perform visual inspection for any damage or defects.

    4. Electrical Work

    Run conduit and wiring from array to inverter location.Install junction boxes, disconnects, and grounding as per NEC and local code.Mount and wire inverter(s) and connect to main service panel.Label all electrical components per code requirements.

    Summary This position will provide professional knowledge and expertise in the operation and support of environmental health and safety programs in compliance with regulatory agency guidelines and institutional policies. Responsibilities will include the coordination and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment in the areas of environmental protection and physical safety, in support of departmental and institutional safety programs.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Champion proactive safety management policies and programs in alignment with Operational Excellence Strategy. Drive awareness and accountability for safety performance and systems through all levels of the organization and build a strong sustainable safety culture.Observe, report and correct in-field safety infractions to ensure a 100% incident free worksite environment. Creating a contagious safety culture throughout the installation team. Communicate, coordinate, and collaborate effectively with Field Operation's team members in the implementation of EHS programs. Champion engagement in safety, health and environmental practices. Communicate EHS goals, standards and metrics.Support and promote EHS systems, policies, processes, and programs to ensure and exceed compliance with internal/external regulatory requirements and commitment to a zero-incident safety culture for a large geographically group of facilities.Perform in field risk assessments, critical task procedures, job safety analyses, and audits to assess EH&S gaps/barriers. Implement strategies and tactics to address and resolve issues identified.Create informative summary reports and analyses of EH&S activities, performance metrics and results. Plan, prepare and present EH&S plans, goals, objectives and results. Contribute to Corporate EHS goal setting through participation in development and implementation of these measures and communications.     SUMMARY: Provides administrative and human resources support.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Payroll & Reporting

    Process and maintain accurate employee payroll records on a regular schedule. Review timekeeping records, deductions, garnishments, and payroll changes for accuracy. Assist with payroll tax reporting and compliance requirements specific to Puerto Rico and federal regulations. Maintain confidential employee records and HR databases. Process reporting of EPR Live, Chauffeur, and PAC as required.

    Recruiting & Staffing

    Coordinate recruiting activities including job postings, resume review, interview scheduling, and candidate communication. Screen applicants and conduct initial phone or virtual interviews. Partner with hiring managers to support staffing needs and candidate selection. Conduct background checks, employment verifications, and reference checks as applicable.

    Onboarding & Employee Support

    Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and completion of employment documentation. Ensure all required employment forms and policies are completed and maintained. Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies. Assist with employee engagement and retention initiatives.

    Benefits Administration

    Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, and vision. Coordinate enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee communications related to benefits.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Associate or bachelor’s degree in: Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in payroll, HR administration, recruiting, or benefits administration. Knowledge of Puerto Rico employment and payroll practices preferred. Experience with HRIS and ADP WorkforceNow preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

    Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm (8:30am-5pm During Training)

    Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack, and/or elevator.Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products.Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.Picks, packs, and ships materials and products.Processes all packages for shipping; processes returned merchandise.Conducts physical inventory counts; replenishes stock from back-up locations as needed.Maintains a safe, clean working environment.Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.Issuing of equipment to installation crewFleet readiness for installation crew (Loading/Unloading of equipment) Additional warehousing task as necessary
