Dietary Manager

About the Role:
As a Dietary Manager at Envive of Liberty, you will be responsible for leading our dietary department, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional care and nutrition. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining high-quality food services, managing food budgets, and overseeing daily operations. With a focus on resident-centered care, you will collaborate with our team to develop and implement innovative meal programs that cater to diverse dietary needs.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the dietary department, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Develop and implement meal programs that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences
Collaborate with our team to develop and manage food budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources
Oversee daily operations, including food preparation, storage, and presentation
Ensure high-quality food services, adhering to quality control standards and safety protocols
Maintain accurate records and reports, including food inventory, payroll, and resident satisfaction
Lead by example, promoting a positive and supportive work environment
Requirements:
Experience in dietary and long-term healthcare, preferably with a valid Serve Safe Manager's Food Safety Certificate
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team
Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards, with a commitment to maintaining high-quality care

Dietary Aide Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures
Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
Taking inventory of kitchen supplies and food items
Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations
Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning
Assisting with educational programs on nutrition
Dietary Aide Qualifications and Skills:
Patience and compassion when working with residents and family members
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and team members
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions for meal orders, nutritional needs and recipes to ensure residents and patients receive appropriate food
Physical stamina to assist in food preparation and serving meals, helping residents with eating and cleaning up after meals

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides nursing care to patients as assigned
Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned
Reinforce supports and provides health care instructions to patients and their families
Participates with other team members in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities
Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
Observes and reports patients' vital signs, symptoms and general condition to the appropriate individual(s)
Records on patient charts observation of patient’s responses to nursing care rendered
Maintains environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients
Assists with unit management and/or assume charge of unit as assigned
