    If you have experience supporting children with developmental disabilities or autism and want more flexibility, independence, and meaningful 1:1 work, this role offers a strong alternative to classroom, clinic, or high-volume settings.

    As a CITE Services Skill Assessment Specialist, you’ll work directly with families in their homes and communities, building skills that last, without the burnout of large caseloads or rigid daily schedules.

    Help Children Build Skills, Independence, and Confidence

    Envision is seeking a compassionate, motivated Skill Development Specialist to support children with developmental disabilities and autism and their families through individualized, community-based services.

    In this role, you'll work directly with children and caregivers in home and community settings, teaching essential life skills, coaching families, and helping create meaningful progress toward greater independence and success. If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families, we'd love to hear from you.

    What You'll Do

    Provide one-on-one skill development, education, and support services in home and community settingsTeach and reinforce communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skillsPartner with parents, caregivers, and support teams to implement individualized strategies and goalsModel effective interventions and coach caregivers on skill-building techniquesAdapt teaching approaches based on each child's strengths, needs, and communication styleCollect data, track progress, and maintain accurate documentationAssist in developing individualized goals and instructional materialsFollow agency policies, funding requirements, confidentiality standards, and ethical practicesRespond appropriately to crisis situations using approved intervention and reporting procedures

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required

    Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or a related field

    OR

    Minimum of 3 years of experience designing and implementing skill-building interventions for children with developmental disabilities

    Additionally, candidates must:

    Be at least 21 years of agePossess a valid driver's license with no more than 5 points on their driving recordHave a reliable, insured vehicle available for work-related travelBe able to work throughout Hamilton or Clermont Counties in home and community settings

    Preferred

    Knowledge of child development, positive behavior support, special education, or related disciplinesStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with families and multidisciplinary teamsExperience using Microsoft OfficeCommitment to supporting individuals with disabilities and helping families achieve their goals
