    An Admin Junior plays a vital role in supporting the administrative functions of the organization. Working closely with administrative staff, they assist in various tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the service center. Responsibilities include data entry, file management, handling incoming and outgoing communications, scheduling appointments and meetings, and providing general administrative support to team members. The position requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy of work. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development, with ample opportunities to learn and progress within the company. A Junior-level Admin has 0-5 years' experience in administrative tasks and reports to their respective department lead, Service Center Manager, or Site Manager.

    Requirements:

    Key Responsibilities Included:

    Comply with Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security Management program requirements as priority; always act in a safe manner.Handle incoming calls, emails, and mail, redirecting them as appropriate and providing timely responses. Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in databases and spreadsheets.Edit and prepare documents, reports, and presentations.Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring easy retrieval and confidentiality.Coordinate and organize administrative activities, such as filing, document management, and correspondence.Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for team members.Support the facility's compliance efforts by accurately documenting waste handling procedures, inspections, and incident reports.Collaborate with team members to compile and analyze data, generate reports, and assist with training presentations as required.Assist senior staff with the tracking, development, and delivery of invoice requests and project deliverables.Support HR activities, such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.Coordinate and assist in organizing company events.Order, pickup, maintain, and deliver supplies, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient work environment.Operate a motor vehicle to facilitate responsibilities.Office cleaning and general housekeeping.Complete assigned tasks within defined deadlines.Respond to internal and external customers appropriately and respectfully while meeting their requests in a timely manner.Operate a variety of modern office equipment, including, personal computers and related software.Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as required.Uphold a positive and professional attitude while representing the organization to internal and external clients and visitors.Abide by company policies and guidelines.Other Duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    High School diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in data entry or administration are a plus.0-5 years' experience in related administrative responsibilities or activities.Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening including marijuana.Ability to pass background checks for federal and client installation access as necessary.Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and data management software; familiarity with EESOH-MIS is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions and meeting deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Valid Driver’s license with ability to safely drive and transport company property and personnel as needed. Able to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities.Excellent customer services skillsAbility to work in-person at a designated location.

    Physical Requirements:

(ECC) offers an exciting opportunity to pursue or continue a career in environmental and industrial services as a Waste Transportation & Disposal (T&D) Manager based out of our Anchorage, Alaska service center. With 25 years in the industry and as a service-disabled veteran–owned company, ECC is a leading provider of environmental services to local communities, the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, and other commercial, municipal, state, and federal clients.


    The Waste T&D Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all company-wide hazardous and non-hazardous waste transportation and disposal activities. This role provides technical and administrative leadership for waste profiling, packaging, labeling, vendor coordination, regulatory compliance, and transportation logistics, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations across all ECC regions. The T&D Manager leads internal training related to waste handling and profiling and ensures all activities meet applicable state and federal requirements, including RCRA, DOT, and EPA standards.


    This position reports directly to the RCRA Program Manager and works closely with Site Managers, Project Managers, Technicians, and external disposal vendors to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational excellence across all waste management activities.

    Requirements:

    Operational Oversight & ComplianceEnsure safe and compliant waste management operations across all ECC locations in accordance with company and regulatory requirements Serve as the company-wide subject matter expert for waste profiling, packaging, labeling, manifesting, transportation, and disposalReview and approve waste profiles, manifests, and Land Disposal Restriction (LDR) forms prior to shipmentCoordinate waste shipments from multiple service centers to approved disposal facilitiesOversee lab-packing operations and verify proper segregation, labeling, and documentationProvide technical guidance and hands-on support to field operations for waste characterization, sampling, containerization, consolidation, and documentationCoordinate with Project Managers and Site Managers to schedule waste pickups and ensure timely, compliant removal
    Regulatory Reporting & DocumentationMonitor and interpret federal, state, and local regulations related to waste management and transportationPrepare and submit required regulatory filings, including biennial reports and generator status updatesEnsure manifests, LDRs, and waste tracking documentation are properly completed, maintained, and archived

    Qualifications

    Minimum of 10 years of experience in hazardous waste management, transportation, and disposal coordination.In-depth knowledge of RCRA, DOT, EPA, IATA, IMDG and OSHA hazardous materials regulations.Experience developing and reviewing waste profiles, manifests, and LDRs.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across multiple sites and geographically diverse operations.Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and waste management tracking systems.Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and government background checks for federal and client installation access.Valid Driver’s License required.

    Education, Certification, Training Requirements

    High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, chemistry, industrial management, or a related field preferred.40-Hour HAZWOPER certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation certification preferred.RCRA hazardous waste management training preferred.

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs unassisted.Ability to wear PPE and pass applicable occupational physicals.Ability to travel to various ECC sites across the U.S. as needed (ground, air, or water).Physical coordination and dexterity to handle sampling and packaging operations.Must be able to work in diverse environments including industrial and outdoor settings.
