    Job Description

    We're looking for experienced, professional drivers who will share our commitment to our people, partners, and planet. This position requires 100% travel, including extensive overnight travel, as you will be on the road full-time serving customer locations across your assigned region. Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting, and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures.

    This position is physically demanding and requires a driven approach with the ability to perform timely completion of assigned tasks and the willingness to adapt to a high-demand work environment with a customer service mindset.

    We at Clean Earth sell compliance, in doing so, we must maintain compliance with all governed regulatory agencies, including DOT, EPA, OSHA and local regulatory entities, this means we are looking for those who can maintain a high level of Training & Awareness related to your job duties and a desire to learn & grow professionally.

    Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

    Pick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Label containers and complete pre-printed manifests & work orders while adhering to your assigned route.

    • Classify, segregate and inventory waste containers in storage for shipment. Conducts lab pack operations. Pack small laboratory containers of chemical waste into larger containers for shipment.

    • Performs various regulatory Training, compliance and safety tasks including, but not limited to: Pre-trip inspections of vehicle, report all losses, spills, accidents, Leaking Containers, waste diversion and safety violations to supervisor immediately.

    • Professional contact with all levels of Customers daily in delivering, promoting, and collecting waste containers. Regular contact with many different levels of personnel.

    • Overnights Required.

    • Provide services related to hazardous and non-hazardous waste removal from customer sites.

    • Process and prepare Universal Hazardous Waste manifests, bills of lading and Land Disposal Restrictions (LDRs) for hazardous waste shipment according to state, EPA and DOT regulations.

    • Performs warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of waste materials. Loads, unloads, moves, or stores items according to delivery or routing documents, or supervisor instructions and performing general housekeeping.

    • Adhere to assigned route via electronic routing system with any deviations escalated to Management.

    • Operates a Hand Truck, Drum Dolly, Pallet Jack & Forklift.

    • Maintain the basic functionality & cleanliness of assigned company vehicle & equipment.

    • Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.

    Qualifications

    Basic Required Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED.

    • Must be at least 21 years of age.

    • CDL Class B.

    DOT HAZMAT Endorsement

    • Basic Computer Skills.

    • Must have the ability to Perform & Maintain all assigned training related to Essential functions.

    • Maintains a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong working knowledge of Environmental / Regulatory / DOT rules and regulations.

    • Knowledge on how to use & troubleshoot computer software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

    • Ability to read a map.

    • Driver E-Log Experience

    • Some College or waste industry experience

    Job Description

    Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
    The CDL B driver works on-site at various retail stores and perform two functions, applying all applicable federal and state laws and DOT, EPA and DEA regulations: 1) Characterize segregate, package and document various types of retail hazardous waste and 2) Characterize, segregate, package, and document various types of pharmaceutical waste. This position is also responsible for the preparation of all appropriate and required documentation to meet State, EPA, DOT and EPA regulations.Travel between customer retail facilities, through assigned territory. Provide services related to managing retail hazardous waste and pharmaceutical waste as well as characterizing hazardous, regulated, and non-hazardous waste. Properly process lab packs and prepare manifests and LDR's for hazardous waste shipment (according to State, EPA & DOT regulations).Maintain / manage own expenses and travel schedule to ensure customers are serviced on a regular and timely basis. Manage route to maintain compliance with 10 day transfer schedules.
    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications
    At least 21 years of age High School diploma or GED Understand, read, and write English Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time Basic knowledge of Windows-based software (Word, Excel, etc) Willing and able to wear company-provided personal protective equipment such as eye protection, foot protection, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator (as needed) Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)Able to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check

    Put your great attention to detail to work as Customer Service Representative with a growing leader in environmental and regulated waste management solutions!

    Working as part of a dedicated team of customer experience, sales, and compliance professionals, you'll take ownership by working internally to coordinate their waste disposal needs in accordance with their service agreements. You'll serve as part of the customer experience team providing support to Clients, internal Operations, Finance, Logistics and field staff to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

    Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

    • Responsible for managing and identifying customers' needs while responding to a high volume of communication via email and telephone while navigating multiple systems to take appropriate action for resolution.

    • Actively manage multiple customers assigned to the team member's roster including communications and logistical activities; prepare and review orders for accuracy per client contract, including accurate pricing and order review for invoicing. • Partner with Sales team to increase revenue growth of assigned account roster, including performing various sales-related activities to support account roster.

    • Coordinate with cross functional teams to assign tasks to the correct departments. • Maintain thorough and updated customer records. • Prepare client profiles by gathering information and assign codes using basic knowledge of MSDS and hazardous waste coding and disposal requirements.

    • Responsible for all case management tied to the team member's assigned accounts.

    • Conduct research and work cross functionally to resolve or escalate problems.

    • Regularly review, analyze, and prepare reports on the status of customers' orders.

    • Conduct proactive calls to ensure ongoing communication with existing customers. • Regular contact with all levels of interdepartmental personnel, including billing, collections, sales, drivers, transportation facilities, and information services.

    • Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.

    Qualifications

    Basic Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree OR High School diploma/GED coupled with 2+ years of experience in customer service role.

    • Experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

    • Strong level of Customer Service acumen.

    • Experience using a CRM system or web-based programs, proprietary online applications; preferably Salesforce.

    • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in details; and strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

    • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Work experience with waste characterization, waste handling logistics, and profiling, demonstrating familiarity with EPA/RCRA, and DOT regulations. • Knowledge of Salesforce, Ariba, or Oracle systems. • Experience administering and reviewing service contracts.

    • Ability to lead account-specific projects.

    • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, environmental studies or biology.

    Job Description

    The CDL B Driver works on-site at various retail stores and perform two functions, applying all applicable federal and state laws and DOT, EPA and DEA regulations: 1) Characterize segregate, package and document various types of retail hazardous waste and 2) Characterize, segregate, package, and document various types of pharmaceutical waste. This position is also responsible for the preparation of all appropriate and required documentation to meet State, EPA, DOT and EPA regulations.
    Travel between customer retail facilities, through assigned territory. Provide services related to managing retail hazardous waste and pharmaceutical waste as well as characterizing hazardous, regulated, and non-hazardous waste. Properly process lab packs and prepare manifests and LDR's for hazardous waste shipment (according to State, EPA & DOT regulations). Maintain / manage own expenses and travel schedule to ensure customers are serviced on a regular and timely basis. Manage route to maintain compliance with 10-day transfer schedules. Provide training and support for customers on processes, findings and regulatory compliance. Provide written and verbal reports to customer and supervisor.
    This person is first and foremost a Hazwoper trained technician capable of on-site waste characterization, packing and generation of all required documents, driving a truck, not a truck driver who only picks up hazardous waste.
