    Job Summary:

    Enumclaw Health and Rehabilitation Center iscurrently seeking an outstanding Receptionist to provide clerical support and administrative duties directed by the Business Office Manager.

    Essential Functions:

    Receive and follow reception schedule/instructions Operate overhead paging/telephone system as required. Answers telephone, determines nature of call and directs caller to appropriate individual or department.Maintain a current file/listing of residents by name and room number, emergency phone numbers of on-call personnel, department extensions, key personnel, etc.Provide directions/information to visitors, guests, residents, sales representative, etc.Order supplies as directed.Operate copier, office machines, etc. as directed.Prepare outgoing mail for pick up at the designated time. Sort, distribute, and route incoming mail to appropriate residents, departments, and/or personnel.

    Education, Licensure, & Experience Requirements:

    Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent 

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    Able to make independent decisions when the circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situations.Able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors and the general public.Knowledgeable of administrative practices, processes and guidelines.Experience using computer software (Microsoft).

    Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.

    Pushes carts to halls or kitchen.

    Washes dishes and cleans work area

    Maintains cleanliness and orderliness

    Required: Food Handlers' Permit

    Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety

    Job Summary:

    Enumclaw Health and Rehabilitation Center is currently accepting applications for an experienced Infection Prevention/Staff Development Coordinator RN to track and monitor infections in the facility and educate staff regarding infection control policies and procedures.

     

    Essential Functions:

    Infection Prevention:

    Interprets and implements established facility policies, procedures and regulations 

    Observes and teaches the facility infection control policies and procedures 

    Demonstrates consistent ability to identify issues

    Participates in and contributes meaningful information in all meetings relating to resident care and QA/QI in the facility.

    Maintains all records and data in a neat, organized manner for prompt retrieval.

    Staff Development Coordinator

     

    Evaluates resident and staff training needs, and provides the Executive Director (ED) and DNS with comprehensive recommendations concerning the educational/training needs of nursing staff.

    Interprets and implements established Center policies, processes, and regulations for nursing staff.

    Plans and provides the ED and DNS with an annual schedule of planned education programs.

    Maintains current education records of classes/in-services conducted, attendance, and clinical performance of each nursing attendee, as well as attendance records of other employees.

    Maintains an education profile for each nursing employee listing each class attended, date, time period, and evaluation of performance.

    Observes and teaches the Center safety policies and processes to nursing staff.

    Assumes responsibility for obtaining continuing education relating to the care of the geriatric resident and nursing education.

    Demonstrates consistent ability to identify problems, report in an objective manner, and take appropriate corrective action.

    Education, Licensure and Experience:

    Required: RN license in Washington

    Preferred: Two years' experience in nursing

    Preferred: One year in long-term care, 

    Preferred: One-year experience with infection control

    Experience supervising

    Essential Functions:

    Answers signal lights

    Provides assistance with bathing, dressing, toiletry, and oral hygiene activities of daily living (ADLs).

    Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help.

    Transports residents, using wheelchair or wheeled cart, or assists residents to walk.

    Turns and re-positions residents, alone or with assistance

    Takes and records vital signs, food and fluid intake and output, and weight, as directed.

    Completes documentation 

    Qualifications:

    Required: Current certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Employment

    Required: High school graduate or equivalent

    Ability to work well in a team setting

    Essential Functions:

    Obtains and administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.

    Observes resident, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor, family, (responsible party) and physician of resident's change in condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.

    Takes vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of resident. 

    Administers appropriate disciplinary action for nursing staff non-compliance with state and federal regulations and Center policies.

    Modifies resident care plan, care directives, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Aide flow sheets in conjunction with resident changes in condition

    Education, Licensure, and Experience:

    Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

    Required: Current LPN or RN licensure in the state of employment.

    Demonstrated knowledge of nursing process, particularly as it relates to geriatric residents, long-term care, and rehabilitation.

    Enumclaw Health and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Director of Nursing (DNS) to manage the day-to-day operations, activities and success of the resident care staff. Validates that the Nursing Department continues to develop and maintain high standards for excellence.

    Essential Functions:

    Develops and maintains a nursing service philosophy, objectives, standards of practice, policy and process manuals.

    Establishes systems for care planning, including assessments, plan of treatment, objectives and goals, evaluations and discharge planning.

    Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, disciplining, coaching, and conducting performance appraisals 

    Demonstrates an understanding and knowledge of certification laws and requirements, survey requirements and Medicare program.

    Validates that reporting departments consistently meet state and federal requirements for long-term care facilities for licensure. Validates existence of a quality assurance program for nursing services and coordinates interdisciplinary quality assurance program.

    Directs the functions and activities of the ED in his/her absence.

    Education, Licensure, and Experience:

    Required: Current Registered Nursing license in Washington

    Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Nursing

    Preferred: Certification in Rehab Nursing, geriatrics, or psychiatric nursing 

    Preferred: Minimum two years' experience as a nursing services supervisor in a long-term care.
