About the Role
The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is a highly skilled professional who operates specialized computerized X-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy. These images are essential in aiding radiologists to diagnose a wide variety of diseases and disorders. Your precision, expertise, and dedication will have a direct and meaningful impact on patient outcomes every day.
What You'll Do
Operate state-of-the-art CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic imagesPrepare and position patients for CT procedures, ensuring their comfort and safetyCollaborate closely with radiologists and clinical staff to deliver accurate, timely resultsFollow established protocols for radiation safety, infection control, and quality assuranceMaintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility standardsWhat We're Looking For

You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures under general supervision, utilizing high-frequency x-ray equipment while adhering strictly to ALARA principles.
Core Responsibilities:
Float between 4 local clinics to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging coverage.Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures, including fluoroscopic imaging.Prepare, position, and reassure patients to ensure optimal image quality and low anxiety.Determine appropriate technical factors and exposure settings based on patient anatomy.Perform daily equipment quality checks, calibration, and functionality testing at assigned clinics.Maintain clinical records in compliance with California state, federal, and HIPAA regulations.Seamlessly integrate into various clinic teams using PACS and RIS digital workflows.Qualifications & Certifications:
Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist License (CRT) RequiredCurrent ARRT certification in Radiography (R)(ARRT) RequiredCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification RequiredAssociate degree in Science or higher.Minimum 2 years of diagnostic x-ray experience preferred.Experience working with PACS and RIS digital systems.Reliable transportation to float between Santa Clara County clinic locations.Read Less
