Job Title: Survey Office Assistant / Field Technician
Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our civil engineering and land surveying firm. This position starts with field training alongside our party chief in Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s counties. Once trained, the right candidate will primarily work in (or in coordination with) our Upper Marlboro office processing survey data, while remaining flexible to assist in the field as needed. Part-time availability is acceptable, with a minimum of three days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Process field data using Trimble Business Center, perform QA/QC, and prepare drawings in AutoCADConduct deed research and general office tasksLearn robotic total station and GNSS data collectionProvide field support during busy periodsQualifications:
Strong computer skills and attention to detailPhysically capable of working outdoors in the fieldExperience with AutoCAD, Trimble, or surveying is a plus — we will train the right personReliable transportation and clean driving record.
