    Role Description ENERGY SYSTEMS GROUP is looking for a Senior Construction Project Manager to join our Public Sector Central team in the greater St. Louis, Missouri area. This position is remote, with frequent travel of 50-75%, including overnight travel dependent on project(s) location. The Senior Project Manager coordinates all aspects of project execution, ensuring a smooth transition from the design phase to the installation and ongoing service and support phase of the completed project. This includes, but is not limited to: Advising and assisting the Engineer in estimating and managing the account. Conferring with engineering personnel on technical information. Procuring and managing outside contractors. Scheduling project phases and training customers’ maintenance personnel. Managing all aspects of project finances including change management, revenue projections, customer billings, and quarterly updates. Acting as the primary point of contact for all internal personnel, external contractors, subcontractors, and customer agents to coordinate all aspects of project installation. Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and that customers are satisfied with both the installation process and the end result. Managing other field assigned employees. The essential functions of the position include: Coordinating with engineering staff to ensure prompt and accurate estimates and pricing are achieved and consistent with project goals. Developing and maintaining ongoing contact with the customer to schedule and coordinate all work performed and to ensure clear and consistent communication about the project’s progress, costs, and training. Assisting engineers in obtaining quotes from outside mechanical, electrical, and construction contractors, and vendors; choosing appropriate contractors and vendors for each project; issuing contracts; scheduling and managing all contractor and subcontractor work; and ensuring on-time arrival of all project equipment and supplies. Coordinating with ESG Management, Finance, and Accounting support groups to ensure the project is on track and cost objectives are met. Reviewing Project Metrics report with the project accountant that contains contract value, percent of completion, billings, contingency, and margin; flagging reports that generate action items including under billings by more than 5% and margin deviation by greater than 3%. Monitoring labor, materials, project modifications, and work completion and making changes as necessary to ensure achievement of project objectives within cost and time constraints. Ensuring compliance with all OSHA, Federal, State, and safety regulations as well as all ESG policies and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, with a preference for engineering or construction management. A minimum of seven (7) years’ engineering and construction-related experience managing construction projects. Exposure to project development. Exposure to working with and directing project teams. Experience in developing schedules. Managing project budgets. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects from development to project closure. Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and project schedules, properly document projects, and work well with customers to achieve customer satisfaction on every job. Demonstrated ability to work with others, including customers, in a professional and ethical manner. Demonstrated working knowledge of OSHA, Federal, and State Safety regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to assist employees in understanding project objectives and specifications and seeing the other side of an issue.     Role Description ENERGY SYSTEMS GROUP is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Federal Milcon team. Frequent travel (approximately 50-90%), including overnight stays dependent on project location is required. This position is remote with preference given to candidates within NC, SC, or GA areas. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects of project execution, assisting in developing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring a smooth transition from the sales and development effort to the design/construction phase. The Senior Project Manager manages all aspects of project budgets including change management, revenue projections, customer billings, and quarterly updates. The Senior Project Manager acts as the primary point of contact for all internal personnel, external contractors, subcontractors, and customer agents to coordinate all aspects of project installation. As such, the Senior Project Manager is expected to ensure that proposals are delivered on time, projects are completed on time and within budget, and that customers are satisfied with both the installation process and the end results. Coordinates with Development to ensure that prompt and accurate estimates and pricing are achieved and consistent with project goals. Understands client contract with ESG. Manages safety, site rules and terms and conditions. Manages all aspects of scoping, pricing, and negotiating customer change orders during delivery. During project delivery leads, develops and maintains ongoing contact with the client to schedule and coordinate all work performed and to ensure clear and consistent communication about project progress, costs, and training. Leads project team in selection of appropriate contractors and vendors for each project; and contract issuance. Works with the project team to develop contracting strategies, bid document formulation and bid evaluation procedures, development and coordination of final contract documents, administration of client contracts, preparation and administration of all 3rd party contracts and supervision of other contract personnel as necessary. Maintains project schedule and manages all contractor and subcontractor work and ensures on-time arrival of all project equipment and supplies. Creates and manages pertinent construction documentation, such as submittals, RFIs, change orders, notifications, and correspondence. Highly competent in review of plans, specs, and other contract documents. Prepares monthly pay requests. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a minimum of six (6) years' engineering and construction-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Engineering and construction-related experience running federal construction projects with contract values greater than $20 million; or an equivalent combination of education and project management experience. Proficiency with scheduling in MS Project and Primavera, spreadsheets (Excel, Word), cost control, Procore, Bluebeam, and other project management software. Requirements Exposure to large electrical and renewable projects. Experience in working with and directing project teams on government sites. Experience in developing schedules and budgets. Demonstrated ability to work with others, especially customers, in a professional and ethical manner. Demonstrated working knowledge of EM-385, OSHA, Federal, and State safety regulations. OSHA 30-hour certification. USACE QCM certification. Obtain clearances to work at military and other critical government facilities.
