Responsibilities
Responsible for sales to lubricant within a defined territory, focused on automotive, commercial and industrial segments..
Perform aggressive marketing, cold calling and new business development for different types of petroleum products to potential new agriculture and transportation customers.
Conduct face to face meetings with customer contacts to solicit business while servicing current accounts within a particular sales territory.
Expected to provide information and recommendations on available services and products, address customer needs and meet customer requirements for reliable service.
Implement manufacturers programs and extend their oil products to customers and prospects.
Ethically and professionally represent products and programs to customers and prospects.
Accountable for customer retention and satisfaction
Develops relationships with key personnel in customer's facility.
Responsible for new business generation.
Maintains active target accounts and prospect lists.
Maintains knowledge of competitive activity and pricing within assigned geography.
Develops skills and knowledge through company and outside training programs.
Participates in local trade organizations that provide networking opportunities for sales retention and growth.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with good mechanical ability
Minimum 2/3 years lubricant or automotive retail and commercial segments.
Solid closing skills and ability to build value added relationships.
Excellent Sales, Negotiating and Communication skills.
Experience with relationship selling, customer prospecting, and demonstrated success in outside sales.
Self starter; self-reliant and confident in capabilities.
Willingness and drive to build a business; entrepreneurial attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with diverse groups.
Good organizational skills and ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
Proficient in computer skills (Word, Excel, Office, Power Point).
Daily travel is required throughout the territory.

The Sales Professional is responsible for daily sales activity and driving sales volume and margin growth with both existing and new customers, assisting the supply team by matching demand to supply positions, coordinating delivery details with the logistics team, and developing and building lasting relationships with customers and prospects.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a sales strategy for new business development of fuels sales and retention/expansion of existing customers.
Acquire new accounts through existing customer referrals and extensive face-to-face prospecting activities.
Daily, establish and submit customer pricing based on local market knowledge, terminal supply positions and other industry data.
Daily, manage pipeline of prospects and sales opportunities in CRM that supports the budgeted sales grow expectations including next steps, correspondence, and contact information at a minimum.
Develop and deliver formal and informal sales presentations.
Develop local knowledge of competition and work with the supply and logistics teams to leverage volume and margin gains at local terminals.
Meet monthly and annual goals for margin and volume sold.
Quickly and professionally address any issues (credit, supply, pricing) that impacts customer relationships and that supports company policies and procedures.
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and techniques, etc.
Update management by maintaining and submitting activity reports and market plans.
Assigned key account management - develop and implement account plans to identify and monitor opportunities. Plans should include an assessment of the current state of account, share of wallet, competition within the target, key decision makers, overall fuel budget, issues/pain points within the target and within the customer's marketplace, current solutions, technologies and products, opportunity for new product and service offerings, and action plan to optimize spend potential throughout the assigned account.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
5 years of experience in petroleum sales or other related industry.
Cannot currently be under a non-compete agreement of any kind.
Understands the importance of good customer service.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to successfully drive the sales process from start to close.
Develop new vendor relationships and sustain existing relationships.
Excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication, organization, and customer relationship development skills.
Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
Must possess prospecting and closing skills. Also, must be highly self-motivated.
Ability to demonstrate great confidence in the quality of our organization, product, and customer service.

Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
Implement plant and other operating strategies that are in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
Ensure that all required accounting, budgeting, and other administrative activity is being performed and managed by plant personnel.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, production management, business management, chemistry or another related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience managing a manufacturing facility.
Five years' liquid and compounding experience preferred.
Working knowledge and strong experience of supply chain activities for manufacturing operations.
Outstanding leadership and communication skills that enable ability to collaborate, gain trust and influence throughout operating facility and with all company personnel.
Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
Commitment to production scheduling flexibility to meet customer demands.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and standards.
Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals.
Process improvement methodology experience preferred, such as LEAN, TPM, 5S or Six Sigma.
