We are currently seeking a dedicated Heavy Haul Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting heavy equipment and materials over short or long distances while adhering to all FMCSA safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport heavy equipment and materials to various locations across Texas and New Mexico
- Safely operate and maintain the assigned vehicle
- Load, unload, and secure heavy equipment as needed
- Follow specific instructions regarding delivery locations and timelines
- Inspect the vehicle daily for mechanical difficulties and problems
- Keep detailed driving logs and field tickets
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customer representatives
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Ability to operate E-Logging Devices, GPS on phone
- Previous experience in heavy equipment hauling
- Know the Permian and Delaware Basin areas well
- Able to navigate and find your way to locations
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus
- Familiarity with forklifts, telehandlers, track hoes, dozers and backhoes is required
- Expected hours: 40 - 65 per week
