    Position Overview The Sales Manager, Venues is responsible for effectively guiding customers through event experiences, identifying solutions that meet their goals and objectives, resulting in a compelling event experience. Utilizes all available tools to ensure maximum event and revenue capture from assigned customer base. Cultivates and maintains relationships with key hotel personnel to enhance the overall business relationship with hotel. Supports Company initiatives, business strategies and Core Values. This position reports to a Sr. Sales Manager, Sales Director, or Director, Event Technology. Key Job Responsibilities Revenue Generation • Drive Results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach, utilizing Encore’s sales process and methodology. • Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner to customers, including those submitted through www.encoreglobal.com, venue booking system, or other sources as assigned. • Effectively collaborate with vendors and other departments/divisions of the company to capture and service events. • Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and appropriate venue meetings as necessary to support the customer event experience. • Understand event cost structure and incorporates this into solution designs according to established profitability guidelines. Relationship Management • Deliver World-Class Service by cultivating and maintaining relationships with customers, venue personnel and various Encore supporting functions and departments. • Thoroughly research and understand customer history and previous experiences, in order to create more personalized customer experiences. • Value People by attending customer meetings, understanding their goals and responding to their questions, concerns, and challenges. • Do the Right Thing by ensuring all customer information is up to date and accurate in the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) at all times. • Actively refer and guide customers through the Encore network, leveraging contacts to secure additional opportunities with existing customers. Sales Accountability • Maintain a healthy pipeline at all times that ensures achievement of established revenue targets. • Ensure all known opportunities are in CRM and completely accurate and updated at all times. • See the Big Picture by supporting the sales forecasting efforts at home location, ensuring they are accurate and submitted timely. • Learn and adopt all SOPs related to the role and any new initiatives/programs that are implemented. • Maintain knowledge of new product/service offerings and emerging technology supporting meetings and events.     Position Overview The Production Systems Engineer will have a very strong technical background in the Audio Visual Industry with an expert level skill set and experience in a specific discipline such as Audio, Video, or Lighting; this position must be the subject matter expert for their discipline. Manages all aspects of that discipline as it pertains to event pre-planning, on-site management, equipment maintenance and post show activities. Must have the ability to operate/trouble-shoot high-end equipment and have familiarity with major brands of audiovisual systems and components in a large venue situation. The Systems Engineer will be the key resource of information for the Project Manager(s) and team; will interface with the warehouse leads helping to design systems; and be the product manager for large venue systems. Position reports Director, Production. Key Job Responsibilities Event Pre-planning • Partner with the Project Manager, Account Manager, Creative, Sales Team and end client to design, pre-plan and manage all aspects of their expertise or discipline. • Complete necessary technical drawings, production plans, labor needs, budgets, equipment selection in R2, and interfacing with Mgr, Inventory Control such as: A2, V2, Master Electrician, Projectionist, and local union labor. Post-show Management • Responsible for post-show management to include: final labor, time sheets, expenses, sub rentals, and any equipment maintenance needs. • Complete reporting information and feedback from team to the Project Manager(s) for the post show jot form to document for client’s future events. Customer Service • Provides excellent service and strive to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers. • Meets with clients on site as necessary to ensure that their needs are met and the equipment setup is working properly. Job Qualifications • BA/BS Degreed or equivalent experience • 5+ years of live large venue audio visual • 5+ years of knowledge of Audio Visual and expert level technical skill set in a discipline AUDIO • 2+ years crew lead experience • Strong customer service skills • Excellent organization skills • Advanced problem solving skills • Strong written and oral communications skills •Ability to travel up to 75% Competency Group This section consists of the Competency Group Number that is assigned to the job.
