    What you’ll do…


    We are looking to hire a detailed-oriented, driven, and resourceful Microgrid Mechanical Technician to assume responsibilities for multiple Microgrid generators. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of performing maintenance on power generation equipment, electrical experience as a plus. The Microgrid Mechanical Technician will coordinate with Area Managers to ensure generators are maintained, serviced, and operate for customer requirements for on demand electricity. The position is remote in the Phoenix area and will report to the Regional Manager.


    You’ll make an impact by:

    Perform skilled repairs of Volvo Penta Diesel Engines (16 L), Power Solutions International (21.9 L) and Marathon generator ends, as well as various voltage control and synchronizing equipment.Be proficient at learning and utilizing manufacturer specific software to troubleshoot and diagnose engine and control system problems.Facilitate technical support and liaison with equipment manufacturers.Perform scheduled, preventive, or predictive generator maintenance tasks.Perform troubleshooting and repair tasks.Perform periodic inspections to identify maintenance needs.Work in potentially confined areas of high heat and humidity, and cold.Follow company process and procedures for verbal/written communications.Utilize all current technology for communication, documentation, and research.Ensure Safe Operation of electrical equipment by enforcing company and industry standards.Safely prepare, operate, and maintain motor vehicles for the purpose of conducting company business.Additional responsibilities may be added at the direction of Company’s management.Safely prepare, operate, and maintain a motor vehicle for purposes of conduction company businessRequirements:You’ll sweep us off our feet if you:Volvo Penta Diesel Engine experienceDiagnostic and troubleshooting skills.What you’ll need:Experience – at least 3 Years Mechanical and/or ElectricalEducation Level - preferred College or Equivalent Training (i.e. Military)Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport materials, equipment, or personnel to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.Successfully pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check to ensure compliance with company standards and safe driving practices.Attention to Detail- Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attention to detail.Computer skills- Uses computers, software applications, databases and automated systems to accomplish work.Flexibility-Technicians have a rotating on call schedule.     A unique opportunity for an electromechanical enthusiast to be part of fast-growing organization developing next generation products and solutions. Seeking a detail-oriented, dependable hands-on supervisor to join product development group. The lab supervisors’ responsibilities include monitoring, servicing, troubleshooting equipment, running tests, completing reports, updating, and improving existing systems, repairing or replacing faulty equipment as directed along with ensuring all safety procedures are being followed. This position is based out of our Titan facility in Houston, TX (20702 Hempstead Rd.)


    Key Responsibilities:

    Setting up and operating electrical and controls test equipment, including power distribution systems, control panels, PLCs, sensors, and data acquisition hardwareWiring, configuring, and troubleshooting electrical and control systems used in generator and power system testingExecuting test plans and procedures in collaboration with engineering teamsCollecting, recording, and organizing test data and results for engineering analysisDiagnosing electrical, instrumentation, and controls issues encountered during testingAssisting engineers with failure analysis and troubleshooting of test anomaliesPerforming preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspection of test equipmentRepairing or replacing faulty electrical components, wiring, sensors, and control hardwareMaintaining a safe, clean, and organized testing environmentWorking closely with engineers to test and validate generators, control systems, and monitoring equipmentUsing manufacturer diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot engine controls and power systemsCommunicating test results, observations, and issues clearly with engineering teamsFollowing company safety policies and electrical safety practicesRequirements:

    We are looking to hire a detailed-oriented, driven, and resourceful Microgrid Mechanical Technician to assume responsibilities for multiple Microgrid generators.     We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician, Automation & Controls to support the integration, commissioning, and optimization of generator packages and electrical systems within advanced microgrid projects. This role is hands-on and dynamic, requiring expertise in automation, controls, and system performance to help ensure reliable, safe, and compliant operations. This is a field position based out of Houston, Texas and will report directly to the Manager of Automation & Controls Engineering.

    System Integration & Commissioning

    Contributing to the integration of generator packages, switchgear, and electrical systems in line with project specifications, safety protocols, and timelines.Carrying out and validate cable schedules, control packages, and system testing protocols.Performing start-up and performance testing activities to confirm operational readiness and safety compliance.

    Project Execution & Handover

    Supporting the transition from construction to commissioning and operations teams by confirming integration requirements are met.Tracking and closing punch list items by documenting deficiencies and assisting with resolution.Providing troubleshooting support during early operational phases following system integration.

    Technical Contribution

    Assisting in troubleshooting automation, protection, and control systems (e.g., Schneider PLCs, DeepSea Controllers, ABB Relays, SEL devices).Participating in the development and delivery of training for site personnel and contractors on microgrid operations, controls, and start-up procedures.Helping maintain documentation control and reporting, ensuring accurate project records.

    As a Commissioning Technician (Electrical), you'll play a crucial role in the commissioning process, specializing in troubleshooting electrical-related issues. Your responsibilities will include:

    Performing controls wiring terminations within Automatic Paralleling Switchgear, Control Panels, and Generator Units.Conducting inspections and operational testing for both Low Voltage and Medium Voltage systems.Supporting the cutover of electrical distribution to deliver power to customers via Enchanted Rock switchgear equipment.Collaborating on protection relay testing with third-party testers under remote supervision.Supporting initial testing, start-up, and paralleling of 480V natural gas generators.Serving as the primary contact for system control and electrical equipment operability.Commissioning microgrids and conducting operational testing.Meticulously documenting all commissioning activities using operational software to ensure accurate system operation records.

    You’ll make an Impact by:

    Working closely with the Commissioning Lead, you will be instrumental in maintaining the high reliability of microgrid generation systems. This role involves collaboration with various Enchanted Rock business units, including Ops and Management, to develop and sustain operational plans from site construction through equipment lifecycle. You'll also liaise with the Microgrid Control Center to ensure Enchanted Rock meets customer demands for on-demand electricity.

    Requirements:
