    Program Director – Emergency Medicine - ACGME-accredited EM residency based at a high-volume Level II Trauma Center.


    This role offers a true hybrid leadership model—approximately 60–70% GME leadership and 30–40% clinical practice—within a mature, fully accredited program that is stable, well supported, and preparing for a planned, collaborative transition as the long-tenured Program Director retires and provides a warm handoff.


    Program & Training Environment

    Established Oklahoma-based EM residency at a Level II Trauma CenterFully accredited with continuation status (Feb 2025)No current citations or OFIsBroad specialty coverage available at the primary rotation siteWell-established GME infrastructure, PLAs, and rotation schedulesStrong institutional and hospital leadership support


    Core Qualifications

    MD or DO, board certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)Eligible for Oklahoma medical licensureACGME-recognized Program Director eligibility, including:Minimum 3 years of core faculty experience in an ACGME-accredited EM residencyPrior APD or PD experience preferredFellowship training a plusEligibility for Assistant Professor (or higher) appointment with the sponsoring university


    Leadership & Academic Expertise

    Demonstrated knowledge of ACGME Common Program RequirementsExperience with Milestones, CCC, PEC, and ADS reportingResident recruitment, evaluation, and mentorshipFaculty development, curriculum innovation, and program growthStrong communication skills and ability to interface with hospital and university leadership


    Position Highlights
