Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, small group activities and crafts, hygiene needs, dispensing medication, leading community outings and volunteer opportunities and helping people Live Life to the Fullest.
Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and implementation of health-related tasks and assisting with program curriculum, learning exercises, center activities, community activities.Transporting individuals to our centers and to community outingsLead small group and skill building activitiesDocumenting on goals and individual progressProvide companionshipAssist with mobility, toileting and meal prepAssisting with medicationLight cleaning activities
Qualifications
Licensed Practical Nurse required, 5 years professional experience in the Human Services, I/DD fieldFirst aid and CPR-certifiedA commitment to providing excellent care and customer service.Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, creativity and enthusiasmAbility to lift up to fifty poundsCompassionate, respectful, ethical
