    The Retirement Plan Advisor assists individuals in achieving a successful retirement and planning their financial future through group and individual presentations to new and existing defined contribution Government 457 plan participants. This role uses data-driven, analytical thinking to lead impactful conversations with participants, meets client service level agreements and achieves annual targets as assigned. This position will also assist the Relationship Management team in effectively establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within the territory assigned.

    This Advisor will work with public employees in NE Ohio and must be based in this territory and able to travel as necessary.

    What you will do

    Conduct Retirement Readiness Reviews, as well as other individual meetings and group presentations, with targeted participants using consultative expertise to improve retirement outcomes

    Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders for each location within assigned territory or for assigned employer-sponsored plans

    Conduct one-on-one virtual and on-site group meeting by using various technologies in a professional manner

    Manage meeting schedule, including travel booking

    Create and execute dynamic business plans and tactics to drive positive retirement income objectives for participants

    Document interactions in Salesforce and collect required information to adhere to guidelines for regulatory compliance

    Achieve plan level and individual goals to help achieve service level agreements and business results

    Participate in client meetings, sales finals, or other external meetings as needed

    Work collaboratively across internal service and management teams to improve effectiveness

    What you will bring

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree

    3 - 5 years relevant financial services experience

    Strong presentation skills required

    Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams required

    Strategic thinker who can work independently required

    Strong relationship building and territory management skills required

    FINRA Series 6, 63, 65 registrations required within established timeline; current FINRA registrations strongly preferred

    FINRA fingerprinting required upon hire

    Base Salary Range

    $72,200.00 - $101,975.00

    The Retirement Plan Counselor is responsible for delivering on-site and virtual education and enrollment presentations to new and existing governmental employees and plan participants in NW North Carolina . The Counselor leverages Empower's industry leading technology and tools to drive positive results and help employees strive for a successful retirement. This position will also work to effectively establish and grow relationships with key stakeholders within the territory assigned.

    This Retirement Plan Counselor will work with NC public employees in a 10-county region that includes Winston-Salem, Wilkesboro and Boone.

    What you will do

    Develop and facilitate communication and education strategies by conducting virtual and on-site individual and group meeting by using various technologies in a professional manner

    Drive participants to take measurable actions to improve their retirement outcomes including plan enrollment, deferral increases, and rollovers from previous plans

    Achieve business results and facilitate impactful conversations while meeting service level agreements

    Consistently complete reporting requirements within required timeframes including logging meetings, attendees and outcomes in appropriate systems

    Build strong relationships with assigned key contacts, plan sponsor representatives and internal stakeholders to maximize successful participant outcomes

    Manage meeting schedule, including travel booking

    Provide feedback about the effectiveness of communication materials/strategies and assist in identifying alternatives

    Attend client meetings with other service team members

The Retirement Plan Advisor assists individuals in achieving a successful retirement and planning their financial future through group and individual presentations to new and existing defined contribution 401(k) and Government 457 plan participants. This role uses data-driven, analytical thinking to lead impactful conversations with participants, meets client service level agreements and achieves annual targets as assigned. This position will also assist the Relationship Management team in effectively establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within the territory assigned. This Advisor will work with public employees in the Austin area and must be able to meet with clients in person and virtually. What you will do Conduct Retirement Readiness Reviews, as well as other individual meetings and group presentations, with targeted participants using consultative expertise to improve retirement outcomes Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders for each location within assigned territory or for assigned employer-sponsored plans Conduct one-on-one virtual and on-site group meeting by using various technologies in a professional manner Manage meeting schedule, including travel booking Create and execute dynamic business plans and tactics to drive positive retirement income objectives for participants Document interactions in Salesforce and collect required information to adhere to guidelines for regulatory compliance Achieve plan level and individual goals to help achieve service level agreements and business results Participate in client meetings, sales finals, or other external meetings as needed Work collaboratively across internal service and management teams to improve effectiveness What you will bring Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree 3 – 5 years relevant financial services experience Strong presentation skills required Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams required Strategic thinker who can work independently required Strong relationship building and territory management skills required FINRA Series 6, 63, 65 registrations required within established timeline; current FINRA registrations strongly preferred FINRA fingerprinting required upon hire What will set you apart Working knowledge of Salesforce preferred Working knowledge of building blocks for successful retirement planning preferred Basic understanding of defined contribution plans preferred Practical experience providing high-level, consultative client interactions preferred #PJRPA ***Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time, including CPT/OPT.*** What we offer you We offer an array of diverse and inclusive benefits regardless of where you are in your career. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
