Caregiver / CNA – Palm Desert, CA
Empathy Hands Homecare is looking for reliable, compassionate, and qualified caregivers to serve our clients in the Palm Desert Area. We are looking for Covid-vaccinated, experienced Caregivers, CNAs, or Senior Companions for clients in the PALM DESERT AREA. This is our agency's goal.

Available Shifts:
Day ShiftsEvening ShiftsOvernight ShiftsOn-Call OpportunitiesFull-Time & Part-Time PositionsPay: $21.50 - $23.00 per hour
Ideal candidates will have their own vehicle and a cell phone.
Caregiver, HHA, CNA, or Senior Companion must also speak English well; have a good driving record. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Nursing Assistant or Caregiver who has exceptional time management skills and is familiar with the challenges of working with Seniors, is highly organized, and can work independently. The successful candidate will also have excellent oral and written communication skills and will be responsible for assisting clients with a variety of tasks that include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting care tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)Provide companionship and emotional supportAssist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toiletingMeal preparation and light housekeepingMedication remindersSupport with mobility, transfers, and ambulationAccompany clients to appointments and errands as neededMaintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clientsQualifications:
Caregiving and/or CNA experience preferredCurrent CNA certification is welcomed but not required for caregiver positionsCompassionate, patient, and reliable demeanorStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and follow care plansValid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferredCPR and First Aid certification is a plusMust be able to pass a background check in accordance with California state regulationsWhat We Offer:

Holds a valid Personal Care Aide or CNA Certificate, but ( not required )

Job Requirements
To be considered, you must meet the following qualifications:- A minimum of 12 months of caregiving experience in performing personal care,
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Current TB skin test or clear x-ray
- Fingerprint Clearance (Live Scan)
- Three professional and three personal references
Responsibilities will include personal care, light housework, meal preparation, companionship, Shower, Laundry, transfers, ADL, and other duties as required.
