    Our team is currently looking for a Field Sales Manager (FSM) who will lead a high-performing sales team within a defined geographic region. The FSM is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive profitable market share growth while aligning with company and region-specific goals. This is a dynamic role for a leader who thrives on results, accountability, and empowering others to win.

    What You'll Do
    Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6-10 Territory Managers and Retail Sales Specialists (RSS) to achieve and exceed sales targets.Deliver annual sales and profit objectives by developing a regional strategy that drives growth across all customer segments.Partner with Sales Directors, HR, and the Training Manager to ensure effective onboarding and continuous learning for your team.Leverage Salesforce CRM and performance data to forecast accurately, assess pipeline health, and lead quarterly business reviews that drive accountability and growth.Collaborate with Merchandising, Training, and other internal partners to identify key opportunities, streamline processes, and enhance customer satisfaction.Identify and address performance gaps through hands-on coaching, development, and mentorship.Recruit, hire, and develop top sales talent using company HR guidelines and best practices.Manage travel and operational expenses responsibly while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and efficiency.Represent Emery Jensen both professionally and ethically in all day-to-day interactions.Foster a winning culture - one where collaboration, integrity, and results drive every decision.

    What You Need to Succeed
    5+ years of B2B sales management experience, including 1-2 years leading training or onboarding initiatives.Proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams.Strong business and financial acumen, with experience managing pricing, margins, and P&L impact.Strategic thinker who can translate big-picture goals into actionable sales plans.Collaborative leadership style with exceptional communication and influencing skills.Results-driven mindset with a passion for identifying opportunities and delivering solutions.Highly organized self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Bachelor's degree preferred.Valid driver's license required.Up to 50% travel including overnights.Ability to sit in a car for long periods, stand, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.

    The Territory Manager is focused on growing sales through weekly warehouse orders, convention sales opportunities, drop-ship programs, and other promotional programs. They will analyze each retailer and develop specific sales strategies and solutions based on customer needs, while meeting Emery Jensen objectives. The Territory Manager manages the customer relationships and will be the liaison between the customer and Emery Jensen. Our Retail Execution team plays a critical role in supporting store conversions, remodels, and merchandising projects across the country.

    We're currently seeking a Retail Execution Specialist II - a hands-on project leader responsible for driving on-site execution excellence, coordinating field teams, and ensuring every retail project is completed on time, within budget, and with unmatched attention to detail.

    What You'll Do
    Lead on-site project execution in alignment with Retail Execution best practices to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Own the details - manage fixture and product deliveries, build or move fixtures, merchandise planograms, apply labels, and ensure every project meets quality standards.Provide pre- and post-project documentation including fixture order forms, punchlists, recaps, and photo records.Review store layouts and assortment plans prior to order placement, providing feedback and recommendations to optimize results.Lead and motivate project teams and MSOs during on-site work, evaluate performance, and communicate proactively with customers and internal partners on project status.Perform store walks and site evaluations - take measurements, create "as-is" floor plans, and brief customers on upcoming project phases.Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Merchandising, and Operations to ensure smooth execution and high-quality outcomes.Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing ideas and driving process enhancements across teams.

    Emery Jensen Distribution is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ace Hardware Corporation that distributes hardware & home improvement products to the independent Pro Lumber, Paint, Hardware, and E-retailer customer segments.

    This field-based Retail Sales Specialist will assist in driving sales through effective merchandising, stocking, executing retail pricing, overseeing store conversion programs, maintaining and communicating all POG changes related to retail execution with and to the Sales Director, Strategic Account Manager and the Customer(s). This position will be responsible to service Hammond Lumber.

    Job Description:
    Effective merchandising of planograms, that result in increased inventory turns and sales results.Maintain exemplary relations with store personnel and management that drives Emery Jensen's value proposition.Walk floor, inspect Emery Jensen sets, merchandise and stock product as necessary.Execute and maintain store level resets in accordance with store/TM/Sales Director expectations that maximize sales results and turns.Create space on planograms (POGs) and place new products in existing sets that drive incremental sales per square foot.Implement advertising dropsAssist buyers and store employees to help drive retail sales and turns with EJD products.Ensure orders are accurate, complete, and transition from receiving area to floor selling space in a timely manner. Document any miss picks and shipping issues.Diagnose, research, and answer questions regarding ordering and product trends.Provide customer feedback related to Emery Jensen's packing and shipping performance from the RSC through delivery.Document customer input regarding shipper performance and attitude, product performance, item scanning issues, reset order logistics, etc.Verify all items needed for POG are represented and properly located. Order any missing SKUs. Correct inventory information as needed.Ensure customer pricing labels are present and in proper placement.Identify deleted items and implement rollover or replacement SKU.Check graphics and POP material as applicable.Recommend needed changes in the product presentation level.Follow up on any special requests made and communicate results to Strategic Account Manager.Assist stores with credits and claims.Attend new store openings and special store events.Execute price shops as required.
