    Established client in Philly (Center City) is looking for an in-office
    Part-Time Document Coordinator
    Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8-5pm
    $23-$24.50/hr


    Overview:
    The Specialist is responsible for scanning and indexing of all documents, fulfilling requests via the Salesforce system distribution queue, and coordinating routine and special member mailings in a timely and accurate manner.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Ensures accurate and current plan materials for distribution and quality printing for visual presentation by maintaining in-house inventory of Plan materials.Processes cases in Salesforce by updating member and employer records, printing letters and required enclosures and mailing them in a timely and accurate manner.Verifies all work processed from the distribution queue is accurate and current prior to mailing to members or employers.Organizes the destruction of outdated material and acts as a liaison between Internal Communications and product owners to ensure the most current publications are available.Supports the teams’ cross-training initiative by training staff to follow the proper Salesforce procedures and protocols to ensure proficiency in processing cases timely and accurately.Serves as a backup to the Manager, Support Services as needed.

    Skills:

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.2-3 years of related experience.Strong knowledge of Salesforce, and OnBase or similar document management system.High school diploma or equivalent.The ability to ensure compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and practices including protected health information (PHI), personally identifiable information (PII), and disclosure notifications.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required for the cross training of staff.The ability to be an effective contributor in a team environment and demonstrate initiative.Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines while demonstrating personal flexibility.Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.The ability to simultaneously supervise multiple tasks and exercise good judgment.An ability, interest and desire to stay current via seminars, industry literature, and formal training and development.

    Responsibilities

    As a member of the legal team, you will assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including:

    Assist with pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, trials, and appealsDraft, prepare, and electronically file legal documents with state and federal courtsConduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneysPrepare and organize discovery requests, responses, and document productionsReview and summarize depositions, medical records, and other case-related materialsOrganize and maintain case files, legal documents, and recordsManage attorney calendars, court dates, and filing deadlinesCommunicate professionally with clients, attorneys, witnesses, experts, and court personnelAssist with trial preparation, including trial binders, exhibits, courtroom technology, and logisticsSupport attorneys during trial and coordinate communications between the courtroom and officePerform additional administrative and legal support duties as needed

    Qualifications

    1-2 years of legal assistant or paralegal litigation experience preferredBachelor's degree preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to applyFamiliarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and litigation processes is a plusStrong computer skills and ability to quickly learn legal softwareExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretionStrong customer service and interpersonal skills
