We are seeking a Board-Certified CRNA to support the Plastic Surgery team in a locum to permanent capacity. Join a high-quality surgical program performing cosmetic procedures in a collaborative and supportive environment no call required.
Position Overview:
Setting: Outpatient plastic surgery center
Schedule: 4 8 shifts/month
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Surgery Days: Typically Wednesday & Thursday (flexible)
Call: None
Start Date: Upon credentialing and MSO application completion
Case Types Include:
Breast augmentation & reduction
Facelifts
Abdominoplasty
Blepharoplasty
Other elective cosmetic procedures
Team Support:
2 Physicians, 1 APP
Surgical support team includes 2 RNs, 1 MA, and 1 Surgical Tech
No APP supervision required
EMR: Cerner
Requirements:
Board Certification Required
Active IA License or IMLC Required
Cosmetic/plastic surgery experience Required
Credentialing Notice: Shifts will not be confirmed until full application is complete and received by MSO
Billing & Compensation:
Must include malpractice in rate
Rate structure must include: orientation, hourly, holiday, OT, and conversion fees (conversion capped at $15K)

Job Overview:
We are seeking multiple experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for hospital-based locum tenens contracts starting between August and October 2025. These are full-time positions with 3- to 6-month minimum commitments (with the option to extend), ideal for collaborative providers with Level 1 trauma experience.
Assignment Details:
Location: Maine Medical Center Portland, ME
Start Dates: Between August October 2025
Duration: Minimum 3 months; 6+ months preferred; potential to extend
Schedule:

Shift options: 7 30, 7 30, 9 30, 9 30, or 11 30
No overtime pay extra hours paid at regular rate
Standard breaks and unpaid lunch included
On-time end-of-day departures are typical

Setting: Level 1 Trauma Center

Operating Rooms: 50
Annual ER Volume: Over 60,000 visits/year
Avg Surgical Cases/Day: 100
Supervision Model: Medical direction billing with collaborative practice
Team Environment: Strong interprofessional support with an emphasis on respect and teamwork
Patient Demographic: Primarily adults; dedicated pediatric CRNA team handles peds cases
Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 120 days
Procedures Required:
General surgical cases (adult only)
Spinal anesthesia
Neurosurgical cases
Ventilation management
Local infiltration
CRNAs will NOT perform: Open hearts, regional blocks, central lines, OB, thoracic, or pediatric cases

BLS & ACLS Certifications Required (PALS optional)
