POSITION SUMMARY
EMD Sales Inc. seeks an experienced Financial Controller to lead and manage all accounting and financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical accounting expertise, leadership experience, and the ability to provide financial insight that supports executive decision-making. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting Operations Management
Oversee all accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll, and General LedgerManage and streamline the month-end and year-end close processesSupervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure accuracy and efficiencyMaintain accurate financial records and documentationFinancial Reporting
Prepare, analyze, and publish monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsEnsure compliance with GAAP and all other applicable regulatory standardsPresent financial reports and performance analyses to executive leadershipMonitor financial performance and identify trends and risksLeverage accounting software to evaluate financial results, including product and customer profitabilityCollaborate with department leaders to control costs and improve profitabilityInternal Controls & Risk Management
