    Responsibilities:

    Perform modeling, simulation, and analysis tasks assessing operational relevance, system survivability, system effectiveness, and overall system performance in engagement and mission-level scenarios.Develop performance models and algorithms, threat models and command and control models for new and/or existing system simulation frameworks.Administer, operate, and maintain the suite of commercial and military modeling and simulation systems to include BOSS, MLST3, WASP, ExCIS, and NGTS.Implement the ports, protocols, and policies that are associated with modeling and simulation such as Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) and/or High-Level Architecture (HLA) and connections to Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE).Automate war scenario execution for joint all domain test events using tools such as BOSS, MLST3, WASP, ExCIS, and NGTS.Develop NGTS model plug-ins and I/O plug-ins using the NGTS Software Developer's Kit (SDK) to simulate war scenarios.Administer both Windows and LINUX based systems.Configure virtualized server computing environment.Plan, install, modify, and troubleshoot Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs) and Virtual Networks at all levels of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model; specifically, technologies and architectures employed by the USMC in tactical environments.Contribute to the development of the test plan, identifying the resources, schedule, and test cases required to achieve the test objectives.Develop test cases and test scripts to support systems under test and simulation tools.Develop scenarios and supports mission thread development.Provide input to the test report, ensuring that all stated requirements and test objectives have been evaluated, and the documented results adequately and accurately reflect the collected data and analysis conducted during the event.

    Qualifications:
    Minimum Position Requirements:

    Four years experience in developing and applying M&S methodology in an integrated test environment.Ability to apply M&S expertise through technology processes, methodologies, standards, or frameworks.
    Demonstrated experience in applying M&S tools and methodologies.
    Working knowledge and understanding of MIL-STD-6016 (Link 16), MIL-STD-3011 (JREAP), MIL-STD-6017 (VMF), and MIL-STD-6020 (Data Forwarding).
    Experience using tools to analyze Link 16 and VMF data collected during a test event to ensure messages conform to the MIL-STDs.Experience creating M&S scenarios of threat, neutral, and friendly aircraft, ground units, surface and subsurface platforms, and their corresponding weapons and subsystems, and their interactions in a realistic theater environment.
    Experience establishing M&S interfaces to support distributed simulations to communicate over different simulation protocols.
    Experience in M&S of C5I systems and tactical communication links.
    Ability to communicate technical content both orally and in writing.
    Develop test documentation that includes, but not limited to test plans, test reports, test procedures, problem reports, architecture diagrams, and topical briefings.
    Possess and maintain currency in respective field; understand emerging processes, methodologies, and technical advancements.
    Provide accurate and timely testing expertise in support of assigned tasking.
    Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance is required.

    Desired Position Qualifications:

    Responsibilities:
    Perform test and engineering evaluation events for communication systems to include
    planning, execution, and reporting for these events.
    Troubleshoot technical issues with C, X, KU, and KA Satellite Communications
    Terminals, RF radios, and ground communication systems.
    Install, configure, operate and troubleshoot TCP/IP networks (e.g., IPv4 & IPv6),
    including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites via Wide Area
    Networks.
    Perform data analysis by extracting, analyzing, and troubleshooting network traffic
    using packet analyzer tools like Wireshark.
    Develop the criteria and methodology for assessing the functionality, performance, and
    durability of the Marine Corps Combat Radio Nets (CNR) testing components.
    Integrate automation from stimulation and analysis tools including T-BERD, Joint
    Enterprise Defense Infrastructure (JEDI) MUOS Automated Call System (JMACS),
    Iperf/Jperf, and Wireshark.
    Implement the automation of current tools intended to control RF attenuation patch
    panel connections and topologies, and analysis controls.
    Automate dynamic application layer loading (e.g., T-BERD) of RF connections, in
    synchronization with automated monitoring of traffic, diagnostics, and alert triggers.
    Configure and integrate test bed and integrated automation test tool suite.
    Develop perform, validate, and refine automation scripts for test execution, faulttolerance, and self-monitoring capabilities.
    Develop, perform, validate, and refine real-time and post metrics collection and
    analysis, trending, and display.
    Operate Windows and Linux based operating systems and hardware platforms such
    as LabVIEW Chassis and Test tool, ETTUS Universal Software Radio Peripheral
    (USRP), SKL and TKL.
    Operate software applications such as Java, API-based testing, LabVIEW, MATLAB,
    Gnu Radio, and Wireshark.
    Possess working knowledge on 4G, 4G LTE, 5G, Radio Frequency (RF) and SATCOM
    Line of Sight (LOS) and Beyond LOS (BLOS) communications platforms, ground
    control stations and IP networks which operate throughout these environments.
    Configure, program, wire and test radio frequency and ancillary equipment.
    Analysis and development of professional reports.
    Conduct equipment qualification test including, but not limited to satellite modems,
    frequency converters, high-power amplifiers, antennas, microwave radios, PCS
    equipment, MMDS equipment, LMDS equipment.
    Provides services of programming, analyzing, and running tests on new or modified
    software programs, including documentation, diagram, and flowchart, and software
    development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user
    requirements and conform to establishment guidelines
    Conducts compatibility tests with vendor provided programs.
    Runs in-depth testing, detects problems, recommends solutions, and determines if
    program requirements have been met.
    Qualifications:
    Minimum Position Requirements:
    Bachelors Degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar field.
    Five years or more experience working as an engineer in radio frequency
    communications.
    Experience in project management, configuration management and quality control
    procedures.
    Desired Position Qualifications:
    Knowledge of military communication architectures and the implementation of
    communication systems within these architectures.
    Experience in working with various military tactical UHF/VHF/HF radios.
    Experience in working with various RF test tools.
    Ability to coordinate with Technical Support Officer and stakeholders to plan, schedule,
    execute, and report on communication systems related tasks and events.
    Ability to design, develop, implement and maintain the communication labs to support
    test and evaluation of new or updated communication systems.
    Ability to plan the integration and utilization of Lab tools, networks, and systems in
    support of test and evaluation of MAGTF, Joint and emerging technology efforts.
    Knowledge of RF Networks including TDMA and FDMA theories,
    modulation/demodulation signal flow components, and general communication theory.

    Qualifications:


    Minimum Position Requirements:


    Five years experience as a systems engineer.
    Bachelors degree in engineering, or related field.
    Two years experience performing engineering, software development, testing, or
    system administration of Air C2 systems such as CAC2S, CTN, or TBMCS.
    Experience in project management, configuration management and quality control
    procedures.
    Desired Position Qualifications:
    Experience administering VMware ESXi, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Windows
    Server Operating Systems.
    Experience in Microsoft Active Directory.
    Working knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting of Cisco routing
    and switching.
    CompTIA Security+ certification.
    Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
    Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
    Certified Systems Engineering Professional.
