We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Security Supervisor to join our team.

    Position Overview

    The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, scheduling, and daily supervising security personnel across assigned client locations. This is a full-time role requiring consistent availability to cover scheduled shifts as well as vacations, call-outs, and other operational needs as they arise. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can step in on the floor while managing their team with professionalism and accountability.

    Key Responsibilities

    · Supervise, coach, and evaluate security officers across assigned posts and shifts.

    · Build, manage, and maintain officer schedules; fill coverage gaps caused by call-outs, vacations, or emergencies.

    · Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new security personnel.

    · Conduct shift briefings to communicate client-specific assignments, safety updates, and policy changes.

    · Investigate and document incidents, hazards, and unusual activity; escalate to management and/or client contact as needed.

    · Review subordinate reports for accuracy and completeness; provide written and verbal status updates to management.

    · Maintain a visible, professional presence and serve as the primary point of contact for client representatives.

    · Enforce client rules, regulations, and site-specific post orders.

    Requirements

    · Act 235 Certification (Required): Must hold a current, valid Pennsylvania Act 235 (Lethal Weapons Training) certification.

    · Valid Driver's License: Must possess a current, valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations or suspensions).

    · Criminal Background: Must pass a full criminal background check — no disqualifying criminal history.

    · Experience: Minimum of 2- 3 years of security experience, preferably at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

    · Availability: Must be available full-time and willing to cover vacations, call-outs, and emergencies as needed.

    · Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to prepare clear, accurate reports.

    · Judgment & Decision-Making: Ability to assess situations calmly and make sound decisions under pressure.

    · Professionalism: Courteous, composed, and able to interact respectfully with the public, clients, and staff.

    Preferred Qualifications

    · Experience with scheduling software or security management systems.

    · First Aid / CPR certification.

    · Additional security or firearms certifications beyond Act 235.
