    Job DescriptionJob Description

    Eliza Jennings, a nationally recognized leader in person-centered care, is seeking a full time Director of Nursing. Eliza Jennings Home is A Skilled Nursing Facility on the Westside of Cleveland, Ohio.

    Job Summary:
    Oversee and direct nursing services through the person-centered care philosophy and in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

    Duties:
    - Supervising and managing all clinical staff members
    - Serve as the primary contact for outside providers, including attending physician staff and all ancillary providers.
    -Maintain oversight of skilled nursing admissions.
    - Lead clinical QAPI and Risk initiatives
    - Oversee the collaboration of the MDS assessment process and required care plans and meetings
    - Assure timely communication with families; oversee and/or participate in family care conferences
    -Candidate must have acceptable ODH survey results and possess strong clinical knowledge.

    Schedule:
    -Monday-Friday.
    -Weekend Manager Duties, approximately 3 weekends per year.
    -Clinical On Call Requirements. Eliza Jennings Home does have a nursing management team and nursing supervisors to also provide support.

    Qualifications:
    - Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
    - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
    - Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing leadership roles
    - Previous experience in a long-term care setting required
    - Computer proficiency with understanding of business, professional and industry related applications. Knowledge of PCC Platform.
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
