We are looking for a Carpenter Foreman to lead crews and support field operations across multiple active projects.
Job Summary
The Carpenter Foreman will oversee daily field operations, manage carpentry and drywall crews, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on construction knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple phases of interior construction.
Responsibilities
Supervise carpentry and drywall crews on job sitesRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsOversee framing, blocking, backing, and carpentry support for drywall systemsAssign daily tasks and manage workflow to meet project schedulesEnsure quality control and proper installation standards are metCoordinate materials, deliveries, and site organizationMaintain OSHA-compliant safety standards at all timesCommunicate with project managers regarding progress and field conditionsSolve jobsite issues quickly to avoid delaysTrain and mentor apprentices and laborers
Requirements
5+ years construction experience (carpentry, framing, or drywall)Minimum 2 years in a foreman or lead roleAbility to read construction plans and layout workStrong leadership and communication skillsExperience with residential or commercial interior constructionReliable transportation and valid driver’s licenseAbility to work in fast-paced jobsite environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in drywall and interior finishing projectsOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationFamiliarity with Bay Area construction standardsBilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbsPerform physical labor on active construction sitesStand, bend, climb, and work in various conditions
