This Travel Consultant role will be considered a member of the prestigious Virtuoso group of travel agents, that can offer to its clientele outstanding travel opportunities and exclusive escorted cruise departures featuring first class complimentary tours, meals and special events.
1. Luxury Cruise Planning & Sales
Recommend luxury and ultra-luxury cruise lines (e.g., Regent Seven Seas, Silversea, Seabourn, Explora Journeys, Crystal).Match clients with the right ship, suite category, itinerary, and onboard experience.Explain cruise amenities, dining options, shore excursions, and exclusive programs.Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.2. Client Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with high-net-worth travelers.Understand client preferences, travel history, dietary needs, and special requests.Provide highly personalized recommendations.Maintain regular communication before, during, and after travel.3. Customized Itinerary Design
Create complete travel experiences around the cruise.Arrange:Business- and first-class flightsPre- and post-cruise hotel staysPrivate transfers and chauffeursVIP airport servicesPrivate tours and guidesCoordinate multi-destination luxury vacations4. Concierge-Level Service
Handle special requests such as:Celebrations and anniversariesPrivate dining arrangementsSpa reservationsAccessibility needsSpecial dietary accommodationsServe as the client's primary point of contact.The role of a Travel Coordinator is an important role for Elegant Voyages. This person's eye for detail and accuracy is critical in working with very high end cruise line clients.
The current role is 3-5 days for 4 hours a day, working directly with the owner on the following:
Answer & field phone calls
Monitor daily emails
Create luggage tags
Create Welcome Home Letters
Mail or email final trip documents, as requested
Keep files organized within their jacket, complete with correspondence log to document actions
Make copies as requested
Ready documentation & packages for mailing
Manage incoming and outgoing mail
Keep “To Do” list updated daily
Insure daily activities from “To Do” list are identified and completed
