    SUMMARY: The Electrical/Mechanical Assembler interprets schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions to complete wiring connections for industrial control panels, cables, and cable harnesses.

     

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    ·       Reads and interprets the job assignment’s schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine wiring requirements.

    ·       Prepare all surfaces and ensure no damage occurs while making wiring connections, assembly and testing.

    ·       Tests assembled parts to ensure correct functionality when required.

    ·       Identifies and reports faulty or unsafe components and conditions to management during the wiring process.

    ·       Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures per the Company’s protocols.

    ·       Reports all accidents, injuries, unsafe activities, maintenance requirements, or mechanical faults to management immediately.

    ·       Follows the Five S methodology manual at all times. Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.

    ·       Performs all other duties as assigned.

    ·       Education and/or Experience - High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) preferred.

    ·       Language Skills – Ability to read, analyze, and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports. Ability to effectively present information to management. Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in oral communication, with supervisors, clients, staff, etc.

    Job DescriptionJob Description

    The Electronics Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting electronic sub-assemblies & assemblies to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards. This role plays a vital part in maintaining product reliability, safety, and compliance through hands-on analysis, documentation, and process improvement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Inspect subassemblies, and final products using industry-standard equipment and techniques (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, microscopes).Perform functional and in-circuit testing of electronic boards and systems.Support root cause analysis of defects and nonconformities; assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAR’s & SCAR’s).Document and report inspection results, test data, and quality deviations using internal systems (e.g., ERP or QMS software).Participate in audits (internal and external) and assist in compliance reporting as required.Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to improve product quality and resolve technical issues.Calibrate and maintain testing equipment as needed.Assist in the development and revision of quality inspection procedures, control plans, and work instructions.

    Qualifications:

    Education & Experience:

    Associate degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.2+ years of experience in electronics testing, quality control, or a related role.

    Skills & Knowledge:

    Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and wiring schematics.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Familiar with quality tools and techniques is a plus (e.g., 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis, Fishbone diagrams).Experience with soldering and rework is a plus.

    Certifications (Preferred):

    UL508a

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to sit, stand, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.Manual dexterity for working with small electronic components.Ability to lift up to 50lbs. occasionally.

    Work Environment:
