    The Low Voltage Project Manager is responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing, and documenting all aspects of assigned projects. The Project Manager works closely with upper management to ensure each project's scope and direction remain on schedule and within budget while coordinating with other departments for support. Our Registered Communication Distribution Designers (RCDD) have designed and installed thousands of structured cabling systems, and our AV systems integrations teams have a depth of experience unmatched in the industry. Job SummaryThe Estimator is responsible for Voice Data System Design and detailed specifications. The VD Estimator will be responsible for assembling materials and labor estimates for proposals and bids. Determine material quantities, pricing, and labor to complete the installation according to the customer’s expectations.RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in the business in Austin and surrounding areas, providing services such as design, engineering, and the installation of building automated systems.Assist in designing a managed service department and extended warranty program, and presented designs to our customers.Assist Electra Link’s sales team with client visits and presentations.Perform comprehensive, voice and data bids for customers, including low voltage wiring, trim-out, equipment rack setup-layout, and system processing.Participation in all meetings as needed.Partner with Sales, Project Management, Purchasing, Service, and Fabrication to interpret project specifications and drawings, determine system layout, and system testing and develop a bill of materials to include the appropriate amount of job-related labor to perform the project, generate comprehensive project equipment lists and scope of work.Design building layouts, floor plans, rack elevations, etc. utilizing various formats.Create job packets to include a bill of materials, accurate equipment order sheets, scope of work for the installation, scope of work for the programming, contact list (project information sheet “PIS”), job safety requirements, and one-line drawings.Conduct and document final drawing review processes.Provide after-sales support and service for clients.Maintain open communication with Project Managers and Executives on the status of projects and task lists.Daily communication on the status of projects and task lists with all Electra Link’s departments working on the same job.Maintain professional work appearance and outstanding customer interaction.Comply with customer health and safety regulations and training.Effect and support change as needed to make for a pleasant working environment and assist in work-life balance for associates to maintain a profitable business.Maintain all bids in Sales Now and ensure that the information is correct and current.Attend all awarded project kickoff meetings to ensure that the operations team fully understands the project requirements of your bids.Work with Manufacturers and Distribution to register projects for the best material pricing and protection.Required Skills/Abilities: Proficient with Microsoft OfficeMust be local to the San Antonio/Austin areaEducation and Experience:Minimum of 5-year estimation experiencePhysical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerBenefitsMedical/Dental/Vision/Life401K with company matchPaid time offPowered by JazzHRQxa9vVvsTf
