Position Summary
Eldredge Lumber & Ace Hardware is seeking a customer-focused Cashier Associate to support daily store operations. This role is responsible for point-of-sale transactions, delivering outstanding customer service, promoting Ace Rewards, and assisting with merchandising and store upkeep.

What You'll Actually Be Doing
This is a hands-on customer-facing role centered on our Paint Department. Most of your day involves helping people bring their projects to life — whether that's a first-time homeowner picking their living room color or a contractor ordering commercial quantities of exterior stain.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:
Receive visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately. Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls. Assist kitchen designers and maintain showroom.

Utilize knowledge of department practices and procedures to perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to the following:

Experience in cabinet or similar industry; literate in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; ability to multi-task, strong customer service and communication skills, detail-oriented team player.
