Elderhaus Adult Day Program – Immediate Openings
Position: Direct Care/Activities Team – Elderhaus Adult Day Program
Reports to: Direct Care Supervisor
Hours: 40 hours per week, M-F, 8 am - 4 pm
Salary:
$18.00 to $22.00 an hour

Advancement: We provide QMAP (Qualified Medication Administration Personnel) and First Aid/CPR training
NO EVENINGS, WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS!
Work with adult participants and other staff members to facilitate a variety of fun and interesting onsite and offsite activities, and to provide care for participants.
Position Description
Activities and Direct Care:
Lead or assist with daily onsite and offsite activitiesAssist participants with activities of daily living (meals, toileting, transfers, personal hygiene)Possess or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification (training provided by Elderhaus)Possess or ability to obtain QMAP within 45 days of hire (training provided by Elderhaus)Administer medications following proper policy/procedure (QMAP)Required: Drive vans/small buses to and from activitiesAbility to lift at least 50 poundsComplete required documentation, including written daily notes, in a timely manner (daily)Report all incidents and complete incident report if required (verify with management)
Miscellaneous:
Complete assigned web-based trainingsOpen/close site as neededAttend monthly staff meetings and periodic training eventsAssist with miscellaneous tasks as needed; other duties as assignedWilling to drive a.m./p.m. for participant transport as needed

Reliability is essential, with minimum callouts and zero tolerance for no-call no-show. Attending monthly staff meetings and monthly trainings is mandatory, 3rd Thursday of each month from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.
