What You'll Do
As a Claims Adjuster II, you will manage Workers' Compensation claims with moderate medical and indemnity exposure, including litigation. Your work will include:
Conducting initial investigations, verifying coverage, determining compensability, and crafting action plans
Setting accurate case reserves using medical knowledge and sound judgment
Delivering excellent customer service to internal and external partners
Accurately evaluating and paying benefits in compliance with state and company guidelines
Coordinating and monitoring medical treatment to drive timely, cost-effective claim progression
Collaborating with defense attorneys and proactively mitigating litigation exposure
Reviewing your caseload regularly to ensure efficient claim resolution
Performing additional related duties as needed
What You Bring
We're looking for candidates with:
2-5 years' experience in Workers' Comp adjusting or insurance
3+ years managing AZ, CO, NV, and/or TX claims at a high, independent level
Ability to manage additional jurisdictions
Strong customer service, communication, and time management skills
Knowledge of state Workers' Compensation laws and claim protocols
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred Certifications (not required):
WCCP, AIC, ARM, CPCU, or similar insurance designations
If your state requires a claims license, you must obtain and maintain it within mandated timelines.

We're looking for an experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster II to manage California WC claims with moderate medical, indemnity, and litigation exposure. You'll handle claims from start to finish-investigating, evaluating, reserving, and driving proactive resolution, while delivering exceptional customer service.
What You'll DoConduct initial claim investigations, verify coverage, and determine compensability

Communicate professionally with claimants, employers, providers, and internal teams
Manage medical treatment plans and control costs using internal/external resources

What You Bring2-5 years of workers' comp claims adjusting or insurance experience
Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws
Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Applicable state adjuster license (or ability to obtain within required timeframe)
Insurance certifications (WCCP, AIC, ARM, CPCU) a plus
