Primarily responsible for generating sales and processing payments through excellent customer service, add-on and up-selling in accordance with established work policies and procedures. This Retail Sales Associate will be working onsite Monday - Friday.

Essential Functions:
Greet walk-in customers with respect and courtesy while assisting with their daily queries
Provide quotes as needed and follow up on any quotes as necessary
Answer phones with an upbeat attitude and qualify their needs
Track placed orders with our vendor partners
Establish robust relationships with new customers
Maintain strong relationships with repeat customers
Cultivate healthy relationships with our vendor partner representatives
Offer superior customer service and exceed customer expectations
Communicate any updated customer information with the Accounting department
Coordinate delivery and pick up needs using our Picks system
Process customer payments in the form of cash, check, or card
Routinely evaluate showroom inventory and report any outage/discrepancies to the Purchasing department
Lift up to 25 lbs.+ occasionally with support from the Operations team
Use of a cutting knife to open cartons, read packing slips, and count items as required
Report any challenges or accidents to management
Manage open order reports to ensure pipeline is accurate with active client orders
Actively maintain a clean, organized front counter station

SUMMARY
Responsible for the overall administrative support of assigned DON Sales force staff. This position provides quotes, completes research on orders, utilizes company systems, and communicates with internal and external customers while providing an exceptional level of service. This Sales Assistant will support the West Coast Sales Team, the position is physically based at our Auburn, WA distribution center.

Understand and analyze marketing data, i.e. Round Reports/Product Mix/A/R Report/Price Lists.

Essential Duties:
Project estimating, including equipment, labor, freight, tracking delivery dates, order confirmations, and installation schedules.
Follow contract policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the expeditious handling of projects.
Prepare and review quotations and bids within margin and credit guidelines provided by Management.

Process and issue all paperwork pertaining to purchase orders, revisions and acknowledgements.
Research and reconcile price discrepancies and make changes as necessary to purchase orders.
