    Quality Control Technician / Quality Assurance Technician

    Full-Time

    $23.00 – $27.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

    Compensation: In addition to competitive hourly pay, employees are eligible for an annual 4% merit increase based on performance and company guidelines.

    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician / Quality Assurance Technician to join our manufacturing team in Danvers, MA. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet customer specifications, engineering requirements, and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

    The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on inspection experience, a solid understanding of quality systems, and proven experience performing First Article Inspections (FAI) and Root Cause Analysis. This position requires someone who is comfortable working on the production floor, conducting inspections, and partnering with manufacturing and engineering teams to drive quality improvements.

    Key Responsibilities

    Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on manufactured components and assemblies.Conduct and document First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with customer and industry requirements.Utilize precision measuring equipment including:MicrometersCalipersHeight GaugesPin GaugesIndicatorsOther standard quality inspection toolsRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, specifications, and inspection plans.Investigate quality issues and participate in Root Cause Analysis and corrective action activities.Support quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with customer, company, and regulatory requirements.Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.Assist with non-conformance reporting, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams to resolve quality concerns.Support internal and external audits as needed.Verify product conformity and ensure traceability requirements are maintained.Monitor manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for quality improvements.

    Qualifications

    High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or quality certifications are a plus.Minimum of 2 years of Quality Control and/or Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong experience performing First Article Inspection (FAI).Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis and supporting corrective actions.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications.Hands-on experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication and organizational skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience in machining, precision manufacturing, aerospace, medical device, or electronics manufacturing.Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other quality management systems.Experience with CAPA, non-conformance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, analysis, and quality tracking.

    We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Solderer to join our manufacturing team in Taunton, MA. In this hands-on role, you will perform precision soldering, assemble small electronic components, and help produce high-quality products that meet our manufacturing standards.

    Responsibilities

    As a Solderer, you will:

    Perform precision soldering of wires, cables, and electronic components according to specifications.Read and interpret work instructions, assembly drawings, and wiring diagrams.Assemble small electronic and mechanical components with accuracy and attention to detail.Prepare parts for assembly by cleaning, sanding, and organizing materials.Inspect solder joints and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.Pot, seal, label, and test completed assemblies as required.Use manufacturing software to track production and complete work orders.Maintain an organized work area and accurate inventory of components.Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.Assist with other manufacturing and production tasks as needed.

    QualificationsRequired

    High school diploma or GED.Minimum of 1 year of soldering experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Experience assembling small electronic or mechanical components.Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and specifications.Experience using soldering irons, hand tools, and measuring devices.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to distinguish wire colors and read small labels.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Preferred

    IPC soldering certification is a plus (not required).Experience working in electronics manufacturing is preferred.
