We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team and support the organization, while providing direct assistance to the Project Managers to help ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish. The APM is responsible for assisting the Project Managers in planning, management direction, project completion, and financial outcome of assigned projects. The APM’s responsibilities include gathering information required for each project, creating files, and ensuring information is on the network. This role is also responsible for preparing invoices, building estimates, and scheduling meetings as needed. To excel as an APM, you need strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Education and/or Experience:
· Associate’s degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or Technical School with concentration in construction
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to the following:
· Set up all jobs once approved following our SOPs into our SharePoint and Sage 300CRE systems
· Create job specific Safety Manuals for GC/Owners
· Issue Certificate of Insurance for each project as applicable
· Assist Project Manager to assemble all submittal packages and send them out for approval
· Receive, review, and log all returned submittals
· Read and understand the project contracts
· Assist Project Manager to assemble all RFIs, submit them, and track responses for potential change orders
· Assist Project Manager to create and submit all change order requests for assigned projects
· Assist Project Manager to develop, update, and monitor the Purchase & Delivery Schedules for each project
· Own the responsibility of updating SharePoint with all current information to ensure the project crew leaders in the field have access to real-time updated information. This includes drawings, submittals, change orders, photos and email communications
· Prepare all monthly billings for jobs to be reviewed with Finance for submission to GC/Owner
· Request and assemble all O&M Manuals from vendors for all purchased equipment
· Prepare all final closeout documents and submit them to GC/Owners
· Month End Close Prep – prepare, print, and assemble required documents the PM needs to review for each job including Committed Cost Reports, Change Request Logs, and Labor Expense
Computer Skills:
· Mid to High level aptitude in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
· Experience with SharePoint, Bluebeam, and Timberline/Sage300CRE is helpful

As an HVAC Controls Manager at E&J, you will lead the estimating, programming, and graphical development of building automation and DDC control systems for a variety of projects. This role supports the successful delivery of controls work by preparing job estimates, developing user-friendly system graphics, and programming control sequences to meet project requirements. You will also serve as a key technical resource for internal engineering, project management, and service teams, providing expert support for controls-related needs across design, installation, and troubleshooting efforts.
Experience/Certifications Required:
· 5+ years of field experience in BMS and HVAC controls programming, installation, and commissioning. Estimating and project budgeting experience highly desirable
· Previous experience in leading construction crews or controls projects
· Understanding of BMS communication protocols, relay logic, and control systems
· Proficiency with industry-standard software, including Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and Visio
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical and professional documentation
· Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects and tasks from inception through completion
· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including internal staff, clients, subcontractors, architects, and general contractors
· Ability and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Customer service-oriented with a strong ethical and professional mindset
· NH Master Electrician License preferred but not required
· Valid driver's license required
Key Duties:
· Provide technical leadership for controls projects from estimating through startup, ensuring quality, consistency, and successful project execution
· Identify, pursue, and estimate new controls projects while maintaining strong relationships with the existing client base
· Review project plans, specifications, and existing conditions to define controls scope and support accurate estimating
· Develop proposals and supporting documentation for estimated projects
· Prepare submittal and drawing packages, including wiring diagrams and control sequences of operation
· Program DDC control sequences and develop user-friendly system graphics
· Coordinate with project managers, installers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule
· Assist with controls startup, commissioning, and point-to-point system checkout to verify proper operation
· Troubleshoot and resolve controls issues while providing support to field technicians as needed
· Create material lists for controls projects based on drawings and job requirements

( or equal training and certification)10 hour OSHA card or attain one in the first 30 days of employment.NH Gas Service Technicians License.EPA CertificationMust have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Work Environment: Noise, dust, welding flash, temperature variations and difficult-to access areas are a part of some job sites. Many times you will be working in an occupied office, manufacturing, educational or hospital environment. When necessary, protective gear is required.
Key Duties:
Diagnose the causes of problems and or failures in commercial heating/air conditioning systems.Inspect HVAC systems and their components to evaluate condition and identify necessary repairs and recommend preventative maintenance.Be a part of the on-call rotation.Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.Follow and accurately complete check lists.Provide recommendations for ongoing preventative maintenance.Identify unsafe and recommended repairs.Establish and maintain a positive relationship with client.Build client confidence in company.Maintain a clean and organized appearance. This includes personal appearance and hygiene, company vehicles, tools and equipment.Make sure the site is cleaner when you leave than when you arrived.Have respect for the customer’s site and work environment.Follow and enforce all industry, state, job/client specific and OSHA safety standards.Ensure maintenance and security of company documents, equipment, tools and materials.Maintain an accurate list of tools assigned to your vehicle.· Maintain a well-stocked service van.
