What you'll do: The Pads Transformer Assembler executes final assembly operations for electricity transformers in accordance with established standard methods and procedures. In this function, you will: Perform tasks across various work centers, including tank breakdown, casing, small parts, vacuum chamber, palletizing, final assembly, and testing. Attach and install component parts and sub-assemblies onto transformer tanks (e.g., leads, bushings, brackets, fuses, switches, nameplates, arrestors, labels, stencils, bands). Load, operate, and unload the vacuum system. Place and anchor core/coil assemblies into tanks. Execute repetitive hand assembly, fitting, and adjustment operations. Use small power hand tools as required. Assist welders with the installation of hoods and seals. Address any nonconforming parts or products through rework. Safely operates overhead cranes and hoisting equipment to move materials, components, and finished products within the manufacturing facility. Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization. Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals. Adhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures. Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.
